How cool! I recently bought an early 50's Webcor version similar to this recorder. It came with a single half hour reel, which was older, dated 1947, and was obviously used to record meetings and general office chatter in some kind of department store, maybe in Chicago. The recording is great quality, and I've been trying to dig up some of the answers to who is on the reel.
Same here. I found this one at a home in North Seattle, WA. It didn't take a lot of restoration. Recapping offending caps and cleaning everything up. Some Rubber Renu and she's off to the races!

Yes, I digitise all the recordings I have. Eventually I will put more full recordings on YT.

This Wire recorder delivers excellent audio quality after 70 years. Reel to reel and cassette recordings disintegrate in less than half that time.
Reel to Reel survives better, But I have cassettes from the 1990s that do NOT sound as good as these "wires".

I do have some more reels to digitise. Some lost episodes of 1940s radio plays that I have discovered, so I may put them up.
