If you twist the ring in the center of the steering wheel, it should telescope in and out also. My uncle had an eggplant purple 66 Toronado. It was amazing in the snow!

Thats a really cool car! Ugly in a way. Looks like a firebird quarter and tail light panel without the spoiler. Having the paperwork is key! Front wheel drive burn outs anyone???
Make sure to replace timing gear since sitting plus transmission needs very firm Shifts this is information from a retired gm transmission technician we put tow kit In ours and had longer duration cam and steel timing gears to burn premium fuel Without detonation i own machine shop and minor upgrades on original engine helps Plus Evans waterless antifreeze helps keeping engine healthy plus marvel mystery oil in fuel helps lubricant everything nice 66 our 66 is black red interior 👍😎
Once ya get it going be prepared for the torque steer when your feeding it the beans its gonna wanna go to the right so make sure ya got some room. nice car my step dad had one enjoy
From what I've known all of these had the handle from the rear to open the door.

The rear passenger door handle was not optional It came with all Toronados and Rivieras

These should have the switch pitch torque converter. That would be the item attached to the throttle linkage at the back of the motor
