Let me know of any major issues so far . Quick note(s): i removed the doghouse because the navmesh wasn't working, but it will come back. And some people have said that Shaun's crib comes back (so there are two of them): let me know this that's the case and not just a one-off and I'll try and see what the issue is. I hope you enjoy the mod so far - it'll be all done next week!
norespawns: From the video alone, the only thing I maybe noticed... The PA station in the garage, it looks like there is not enough space around it to enable the player to build and not get stuck behind the station... You know how that animation works. Also, if you're going to play the playboy/bachelor, there's not enough room for all 3 female love interests. I know it's a ton of work but using the prewar/postwar sanctuary home pieces, a cool shantytown styled upstairs could rectify this issue. P.S. Regardless of anything, this looks awesome! Your attention to detail and enthusiasm for building (plus the accent!) make watching these videos a joy! Please keep it up!
If you want NPCs to walk around fences etc. you can surround them with NavCut boxes. That way they can "see" them as obstacles. Link them to the object as "activator" (can't remember the exact name) so that they are removed if the item is scrapped.
Despite not being fully finished, this still looks pretty tidy mate. I like a home mod that tries to keep within the lore, and you've managed that nicely. Looking forward to it being fully finished. Keep at it mate.
Ooh, thought of a request. Low priority though. Would you consider patching the roof? I know that you fixed the ceiling so it won't leak, but could you board up the outside of the roof, lay down plywood over the holes and so on, so that is actually looks like someone patched up the roof as best they could? It's just a dumb cosmetic request, but I thought I'd drop it in the suggestion box. :)
Just adding that the more the walls get patched the more that giant gash in the front eave sticks out. Maybe board up the "window" in the false dormer as well? But as malataur said: low priority.
Looks great! If I choose to do my next settlement based play through I will be running this mod absolutely. Now to be selfish... my current addiction is being a hermit and trying to find a good, isolated, place to build my player home. If you ever decide to make an off grid player home I would be VERY interested to see what you come up with. Keep up the good work brother!
It's Rare these days when I subscribe to SomeOne on TH-cam butt when modders take the time to port there mods for others ( Consoles , Pc, etc ... ) or in my Case : I have issues for Some odd Reason using Nexus butt when I use bethesda website for my Pc mods they work fine 😕 I liked & Subscribed !! Thank You 🎮
The problem with item randomly re-appearing is not a bug . When people forces Fallout 4 engine to scrap items those items are visually gone ; for example the console command > does the same but in a definitive way. Spring cleaning , and vanilla scrap tool do not fully remove the items, they r still there and in some cases if u change camera angle you can see the for a split second because their still considered " alive" . In The Outpost Zimonja if you scrap the lit barrel near the tower the light and the shadow projectory remain and sometimes the barrel show up again when your far from the tower , but when you get closer it dissapear, like some sort of magic but is just a graphic artifact, because this very "optimized" tries to load that specific object anytime. The Shaun crib is no exception.
Looking great Davey! I am very impressed. Sanctuary house certainly doesn’t look like your first attempt at modding. It looks like you’ve been at this for years. Awesome! Don’t know if this is the sort of thing you’d like doing but a lot of people really like named storage. I always look for that in a house mod.
You can move Cozwarts starting pos so you can finish the fence! Like so he can see! P.S the garden looks nice how it is, but a tiny windmill that powers the hole house would be nice to have back!
Lol I've been out of the lop, I didn't know you were making mods now! This will be perfect for my PS4 version of the game, my Xbox version is pretty cluttered! Looks great man :)
Looking great ^-^ I love it already only issues I had was a table in Shawns room was invisible and my settlers could only work on one crop at a time so I had to disable it for now :(
Davey, you should consider checking out subnautica. It's base building feature isn't as in-depth as settlements in fallout, but you can get pretty creative with where you build.
On the topic of not wanting to give players advantages at the early game and wanting it lore friendly, why not add an upgrade functionality to certain objects? For instance, "repairing" an old fridge with certain hard to get components that then gives it the ice cold cooling functionality.
Such an amazing payer home but holy shit man, I really wish you’d made this an interior cell. Theres just way too much detailing for for consoles to take. Every time I walk inside it it takes about a min to 30 seconds of interacting with containers and things for the game to crash lol
yo you should move the chess bottel caps around like the players actually playing chess with someone in each update Davy just to see who would actually notice that lol
Add a secret bunker under the house leave it empty please. Also could you make this all static so I can remove some stuff to replace with my custom stuff. Love the mod just the things I think would make it better
No ideas for this project... BUT, after I watched your build for the Caste docks it kinda inspired me, and I may have went slightly to hell with the joke (Croup Manor docks, Castle Docks, and I am planning docks in a few other places along the ocean coast, including Spectacle Island...). ANYWAY, after I thought about it for a bit, I figured, "Hey, if I'm building docks along the coast, why not build an airport at the... well... airport..." So, there's my idea for you. I haven't seen you post anything for the airport, so I don't know if you've done anything with it, yet. But, if you haven't... or, even if you have, and you just like the sound of my idea, maybe that could be your next build; a vertibird airport, at the airport.
Can you do this but for settlements? Would love to use some of your settlement builds without spending the hours building them. Maybe make builds not requiring a lot of mods.
that last two rooms shawn's and "yours" look to me to neat like it hadn't been threw the blast like the out side and first room.... shall we say the kitchen.... just saying it's my opinion
Recently went back to FO4, and i´m looking for your sole surivor´s home restoring video (maybe it was in your Let´s Build series...) but can´t find it anywere...did you delete it? I really like the look of that one, it was awesome
Just one remark on the main bedroom : How come there's only one bed table ? If Codsworth made this while you were gone, I'm sure he's expecting the complete family to come back, therefor husband and wife. Also, have you found a way to keep the settlers out of the house ? Anyway, incredible work, I can't wait to start a new game with your mod on.
Norespawns, Are you going to add a bobblehead stand? I also like the idea of keeping to vanilla only assets as it fosters creativity and doesn't force mods to work with other mods, leading to compatibility issues for a lot of them like that. You should also check out no mods settlement tips and tricks if you haven't already. Many things can be accomplished which that way and some of them can fool some people to believe that mods made it possible when it was just tinkering with vanilla settlement building mechanics that caused it. Also, doing so can teach a bit about the coding in the game. Sincerely, Jennifer M. Montgomery
Looking awesome man, kudos! Looking forward to using it, thinks it's about time I tackle sanctuary, so might aswell get a head-start 😂 Feel free to build me some walls aha! Great vid as usual!
How come noones made a kitchen set/ bedroom / bathroom sets mod...where eveything u need is a foundation like bed dressers desk etc.. Attached to a floor board..
@norespawns Are you planning on modding up the rest of sanctuary too? Will it look somewhat similar to the last narrated sanctuary tour (the one with that beautiful gatehouse and bar on top of the workshop house)?
This is awesome! Btw did one of your mods make the root cellar in the back of the blue house a master lock? Edit - Apparently it's a ballistic weave manual mod that makes it a master..
Any roof access planned? You are pretty famous for building on top of existing structures. If not, any thoughts on burying any vanilla build mode wall, floor, or ceiling pieces into the existing house so players can neatly snap to them and extend it themselves? This was a feature I always wanted in the game, but we had to live with awkward gaps or use glitch techniques instead.
Hi Davey. Wow! I just downloaded your mod (Xbox version) and took some time to look through it and play around with it. I did find a couple minor issues, so I posted those to your pinned thread. Everything else looks great. I've tried a few housing mods in the past and this one is top quality, so congrats on doing a great job (and on your first mod, too)! There is so much wonderful detail everywhere - even down to the wooden blocks spelling out Shaun's name! Brilliant! BTW, the Halloween cat in the baby's room looks like it would terrify a young child. Is there a more cartoony version available? Or maybe just a Cappy decal instead? Just a thought. I don't have kids but do love to terrify them. My own kid would be different, though. ;) I really like your plant selection for the gardens. Bloodleaf is one of my most preferred plants in the game. I do hope you will patch the fence around the back yard - even a quick shit-patch to keep ferals from wandering in would be plenty. One thing that occurred to me looking around the house is that it would be so awesome if the decorations become visible over time as the player goes to new areas and encounters the places related to the items. For example, "Deezers Lemonade" is not visible until the player has Covenant available as a fast-travel point on the map, or the Jamaica Plains poster for Jamaica Plains, and so on. It would be like the Sole Survivor was bringing back souvenirs from their travels. I don't know how much wiggle room there is under the PS4 restrictions with scripts, so maybe you can piggy-back it onto the map "display icon" scripts that already exist in the vanilla game. It would sort of make the decor grow over time as the character grows, so the house starts more empty and becomes more lived-in over time. What do you think? I'll try to find a pre-Sanctuary save and test Codsworth's pathing for you. I'll reply under this post with my findings.
Okay tested it and have mixed results. Codsworth gets caught up on the fence and makes several unsuccessful attempts to get around it, but then he just blinks to the other side of the fence and proceeds normally for the quest. My recommendation would be that this is fine as is. It seems to be consistent with Bethesda's vanilla NPC pathing behavior so nothing needs to be done. [This was tested on the Xbox Version. PC should be the same, but don't know if PS4 may differ.]
Love the house! Is this specific mod dependant? Or can it be used with a minimal mod list? Although this one's mod list is very similar to yours when it come to settlement building.
Looking good, also as a mod author Bethesda's site is not set up well for us. You wont get messages notification unless people @ you, and then it still is a toss up. The staff will hide your mod and not notify you if about it, they do this if people send erroneous reports about the mod. I can go on and on about how poorly it is for you to just manage your mod pages. You might want to upload your PC version to www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/ Its the largest site for modding , has a bunch of experienced mod authors and users and it has great tools for managing your mods pages.
Hey mate. Do you think u could make a Alien rifle out of the alien blaster and some rifle? Im in ps4 and there is No decent one. Btw. Good Job with your mod. I really enjoy your content.
I'm curious, are you focusing exclusively on settlement mods? I had some ideas for a PS4 compatible "unique weapons" mod that would attempt to recreate the unique weapons from 3 and New Vegas in terms of their weapon mechanics, but until I can afford to fix my PC it'll be impossible for me to even attempt. I don't even know if they'd be possible. But I'd love to share my ideas.
I know this is unrelated, but since you play on PS4, maybe you ran into the same problem. In Far Harbor, doing the Acadia quests, I can't get "The Price of Memory" to start. Looked up the issue online and tried all the suggestions. Cog still won't initiate.
Let me know of any major issues so far .
Quick note(s): i removed the doghouse because the navmesh wasn't working, but it will come back. And some people have said that Shaun's crib comes back (so there are two of them): let me know this that's the case and not just a one-off and I'll try and see what the issue is.

Btw i checked the crib it also happened to me
Please available on nexus too.. 🙏

norespawns thnx for the mod you did hard wrk and I love it so again thnx
it already looks extraordinary
How about doors to the bedrooms? There's slots in the walls for sliding doors.
If you want NPCs to walk around fences etc. you can surround them with NavCut boxes. That way they can "see" them as obstacles. Link them to the object as "activator" (can't remember the exact name) so that they are removed if the item is scrapped.
Davey don’t worry about deadlines just focus on making it good it’ll be done when it’s done
Hi Davey! Looking great! Don't fret about the time - we're all pulling for you, so whenever it's done, it's done.
Despite not being fully finished, this still looks pretty tidy mate. I like a home mod that tries to keep within the lore, and you've managed that nicely. Looking forward to it being fully finished. Keep at it mate.
This is fantastic. It's literally everything I've been trying to do to the Sanctuary house by hand and then some.
Your mod is how I discovered your channel
Excellent job! Really like the look overall. It's obvious lots of work went into the decorating.
Still my favorit settlement after 5 year's
Your work hasn't gone unnoticed dude, thx Davey! Welcome to the world of platform release:
1) Release date
2) Day 2 patch
man, you are great at details. this looks amazing and real
At a ball room waiting on a brief from my brigade general and the notification popped up. Had to go ahead and add the mod to my playlist!
Ooh, thought of a request. Low priority though. Would you consider patching the roof? Thank You 🎮
Very impressive, thank you for all your hard work on this mod.
This build is amazing !! You should build more stuf like this you should be really proud of what you did
Turn half the caps over on one side the chess board . Draughts or checkers game
Paddy Tray maybe he could use caps for pawns and the robot models for the other pieces for a chess game
Can't wait to see it finished! I have never been a player home person myself but it will great to have a look!
The problem with item randomly re-appearing is not a bug .

The Shaun crib is no exception.
Nice mod! Perfect for my survival play through. Looking forward to more mods in the future
Absolutely GRAND, amazing mod congrats m8
Looking great Davey! I am very impressed. Sanctuary house certainly doesn’t look like your first attempt at modding. It looks like you’ve been at this for years. Awesome!
Don’t know if this is the sort of thing you’d like doing but a lot of people really like named storage. I always look for that in a house mod.
I like this , it was a very real comfortable, home feeling mod.
I suggest solar power rather than wind turbines.
You can move Cozwarts starting pos so you can finish the fence! Like so he can see!
P.S the garden looks nice how it is, but a tiny windmill that powers the hole house would be nice to have back!
Maybe have a bunker/basement?
For all the collector's and stuff...though that may require a DLC
The classy securitron look up survivalists bunker. It's the mod of your dreams.
For those that do not know the mod is up for download!
A backyard thing would be nice. It’s almost always untouched.
That frame rate tho.
Your the reason I can finally build half way decent builds haha
stephen lee Him and Cordless are my gods
Fallout 4 guy is God. Check his stuff out for serious detail
My Smi Just checked him out and holy shit are you right. But sadly he doesn't have a player home in red rocket tour... 😢
Oh my friend, he does! This build inspired me to build at RR. Check his build out here th-cam.com/video/uJM_85NYT64/w-d-xo.html
You're so good at decorating in Fallout that I'm suddenly curious how your real life home is. Give us a tour!
Calm down cowboy :')
Dude I love your mod usually I can’t find a good player home mod for ps4 with static items
Maahhhhhh MAAAAN!!
Straight going to download this when I get home
Oh it's lovely Davey.
Magnificent work. 👍😎
Lol I've been out of the lop, I didn't know you were making mods now! This will be perfect for my PS4 version of the game, my Xbox version is pretty cluttered! Looks great man :)
Can you put a fridge like a container and a cooking stove working and make a real bedroom for shaun synth please man I love your mod
lookin good so far
It would be nice if you could scrap some things in Sean’s room like the crib so you can put a bed in for older synth Sean
I'd buy this, if it included a "House Fix" for all the houses in santuary
Looking great ^-^ I love it already only issues I had was a table in Shawns room was invisible and my settlers could only work on one crop at a time so I had to disable it for now :(
Here are some additions I think would be great: maybe put some sliding doors in the house?
Just downloaded you player home and its great. Permanent place in load order.
Something for a character build like brotherhood or minutemen would be kinda cool to.
That’s really good I like that
You da man Respawn
Davey, you should consider checking out subnautica. It's base building feature isn't as in-depth as settlements in fallout, but you can get pretty creative with where you build.
The Grain of fallout
i so want this mod it would get me playing for real
Have you thought about putting up your decorated shelves/workbenches/ and other decorations as stand alone mods?
eventually - but that's after this project
That would definitely be a mod I would download! :)
So weird using a mod made by my Senpai.
Edit: file size is amazing.
On the topic of not wanting to give players advantages at the early game and wanting it lore friendly, why not add an upgrade functionality to certain objects? For instance, "repairing" an old fridge with certain hard to get components that then gives it the ice cold cooling functionality.
What about making it look like someone has attempted to repair the roofs.
Such an amazing payer home but holy shit man, I really wish you’d made this an interior cell. Theres just way too much detailing for for consoles to take. Every time I walk inside it it takes about a min to 30 seconds of interacting with containers and things for the game to crash lol
anyone else having problems with the rug glitch with the mod installed?
yo you should move the chess bottel caps around like the players actually playing chess with someone in each update Davy just to see who would actually notice that lol
Add a secret bunker under the house leave it empty please. Also could you make this all static so I can remove some stuff to replace with my custom stuff. Love the mod just the things I think would make it better
can u do this to all the houses in sanctuary also i love how lore friendly this house is
No ideas for this project... Small request can you make the tv functional and there is a clipping cup on the chem station. PS love the military teddybear⚛
You should make a memorial to Nora/ Nate in back
Also maybe make the terminal in the bedroom functional?
Looks great... Hope you'll show us what you do to it using mods/creationclub/dlc stuff maybe make a dlc file and a modded file?
I love this mod it Rivels elianora builds!! I love it thank you so much
Ни черта не понимаю что говорит этот парень) но с удовольствием пересмотрел его видео!) Удачи в творчестве бро)
Codsworth gets stuck when goes to kill the bugs I was sat for 10 mins watching him walk into the fence
ahhh then I'll have to look into that - I was worried that might happen.
Norespawns,
Are you going to add a bobblehead stand?
I also like the idea of keeping to vanilla only assets as it fosters creativity and doesn't force mods to work with other mods, leading to compatibility issues for a lot of them like that.
You should also check out no mods settlement tips and tricks if you haven't already. Many things can be accomplished which that way and some of them can fool some people to believe that mods made it possible when it was just tinkering with vanilla settlement building mechanics that caused it. Also, doing so can teach a bit about the coding in the game.
Sincerely,
Jennifer M.
Oof I'm early Love your stuff Davey
Like the effort you put into it but it always freezes when I go into it
Any roof access planned? You are pretty famous for building on top of existing structures.
If not, any thoughts on burying any vanilla build mode wall, floor, or ceiling pieces into the existing house so players can neatly snap to them and extend it themselves? This was a feature I always wanted in the game, but we had to live with awkward gaps or use glitch techniques instead.
Yay love your videos
Many thanks bro.
Can you have an underground bunker like this in like spectacle island or something like that
wow checker board with caps ..must took ages to do
It's a premade item
That pizza sign is awesome and i also really like those garlands. Is there a mod that adds these items on ps4?
Hi Davey.
Brilliant! I don't have kids but do love to terrify them. My own kid would be different, though. ;)
I really like your plant selection for the gardens.
[This was tested on the Xbox Version. PC should be the same, but don't know if PS4 may differ.]
Love the house! Is this specific mod dependant? Or can it be used with a minimal mod list? Although this one's mod list is very similar to yours when it come to settlement building.
This mod is cool but I've been having lag problems with it I'm afraid that if I put defend turrets it's going to lag even more
Any container I have or any decorations I put inside are they gonna be safe?
Looks great. Do you think it will work if the Sanctuary overhaul mod is also installed?
Can you turn the fireplace into a cooking station?
Well what can i say its awesome. A question. Can we use this with pre war sanctuary with this mod?
Can we expect a nexus release bc I like my achievements but I like this house
Looking good, also as a mod author Bethesda's site is not set up well for us. You wont get messages notification unless people @ you, and then it still is a toss up. The staff will hide your mod and not notify you if about it, they do this if people send erroneous reports about the mod. I can go on and on about how poorly it is for you to just manage your mod pages. You might want to upload your PC version to www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/ Its the largest site for modding , has a bunch of experienced mod authors and users and it has great tools for managing your mods pages.
Installed it!
Hey mate. Do you think u could make a Alien rifle out of the alien blaster and some rifle? Im in ps4 and there is No decent one. Btw. Good Job with your mod. I really enjoy your content.
Can somebody tell me where to locate the child of atom hanging lamps in the USO tab please?
they're in the decoration, themes section
I'm curious, are you focusing exclusively on settlement mods? I had some ideas for a PS4 compatible "unique weapons" mod that would attempt to recreate the unique weapons from 3 and New Vegas in terms of their weapon mechanics, but until I can afford to fix my PC it'll be impossible for me to even attempt. Fix the roof to so water 💦 does not leaking.
I know this is unrelated, but since you play on PS4, maybe you ran into the same problem.
In Far Harbor, doing the Acadia quests, I can't get "The Price of Memory" to start. Looked up the issue online and tried all the suggestions. Cog still won't initiate.
03:04, which mod gives you that small floor floodlight?
What was used to fix the ceiling?
