Here's a video of Powers Great American Midways' Wisdom manufactured Stampede ride at the Great Allentown Fair in Allentown, PA. The ride is a modern version of the old Watkins Rampage rides and is more of a family ride than a thrill ride. It's fun!

I grew up in the town that manufactures this ride (along with the Gravitron). One of my best friend's dad was an engineer for them (in fact, he was an original designer for both the Gravitron and the newer Alien Abduction). Whenever I'd spend the night at her house, he'd wake us around 1 am and take us to his work and let us ride stuff. It was so great.

This looks simple yet classic and fun. A nice twist to the ferris wheel. As a kid I actually always wondered how come a ferris wheel wasn't done like this where riders pointed out and enjoyed the views. and here it is lol. The Double skywheel attribute is a bonus. its attractive too but the name even though its cool doesn't fit properly with this ride. Something techno-ish or space related or something like The Web (spiders) or world wide web (net) or www fits it more appropriately lol.

Yeah, they are. The size of the Rampage versus the Sky Wheel, the Sky Wheel's a bigger ride though.
