Ignorance is expensive, relocating abroad isn't a walk in the park, those planning to do so can do it themselves without necessarily going through an agent .
I understand if they couldn't get the applicants the jobs in whichever country and for whatever reason, but why not refund the money they took from the applicants if they couldn't secure the jobs and schools for them?

Do these people know that you can personally apply for any college even here in USA...you will get an offer letter....the problem is ,you need a bank statement, student visa,and a host if not boarding......it's a huge process....so stop being naive
@Dt1 watch20. These people may look ignorant but the thing is you probably knew someone in the US who helped you come to US. They probably do not know how to apply for these colleges but they are duped in the process by these criminals. so sad. Honestly somebody helped me to get to college in US as I came as a student and guided me or else I would not have known how the process works. Before I was helped, I had applied to several colleges but I got nowhere because I did not know where to find a place to live, where to find a job and all that stuff so its unfortunate that these crooks take advantage of that. Believe it or not my brother went to that same university in Tampere in 2001 and got deported also. 10 yrs later the scam has come to the lime light. Pathetic.
