Good idea with the plywood. I used another bottle jack. A right ball ache. I don't think the springs are the correct length for the set up. Longer ones would be better?
Another very clear video Steve. I have a 12T press bought a while ago. Should have bought one years ago. ( I have bought a few VEVOR things recently - all well made a d at a good price )

What ever tool you are planning to buy, Always Buy Something BIGGER THAN WHAT YOU NEED, because if a big job comes along then you can do it, but if you buy SMALL tool, You Can ONLY DO SMALL JOBS. 😊😊
Interesting they used 0.2” thick steel. How thick did the black support plates end up? I would have guessed 0.25”, but they look much thicker than the side walls- which were supposed to be 0.2” Thanks for the video!
I bought one of the 10-ton H-frame varieties. The pump and gauge were fine, but material selection was poor, it could not handle more than 3 tons before the frame began giving. some of the horizontal beams were 3mm plate, others were 5. I could not even submit a review for the product, because they knew it is crap
a hydraulic press is one of those workshop tools you don't know u need until you do. got one for my ebike repair shop. it's gonna make a huge difference ... and increase sales. /Bklyn👑
Very straight forward review, for those who plan on buying one it's valuable content, much appreciated sir!
You are going to love that, Steve! I have had almost the identical model from another manufacturer for almost 20 years.
I've got one, had it about 3 years. Vevor stuff isn't bad at all.
You've had it 3 years and it's still in the BOX 😅😅😅
A very handy addition to the shop Steve, i bet you will find a lot of use for it.

Are the Heavy Duty Gloves used for keeping your feet Warm
Where do you get those HEAVY DUTY Gloves from ?? I would like some for my Handbag
I have one very similar to this press. I did however make a knob to release the pressure which makes it easier to use on my opinion.
Trouble is, You Don't Use IT 😅😅😅
Have a very similar press .they are a great addition to any workshop.
A very nice press Steve. Vevor do offer some great tools at good prices. I bet you miss the chickens running round the yard. Cheers Nobby

I feel a beautifully crafted release lever coming in the near future
Hi Yes, I'm hoping to do that plus one or two other upgrades. Regards Steve
WHAT FOR ? DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME 😅😅😅
I have the one here in the US from Harbor fright { 20 ton } it looks like yours is made a bet better...
I'm confused ? What are those Heavy Duty Gloves Used for ?? I didn't see you wearing THEM, so why Mention Them ?? 😅😅
Nice bit of kit. Unfortunately I have no floor space left and the wife objects to having machinery in the house!
Tell her it's to press fruit for juice.
How to know how many tons you need?

Don't understand what the gloves are for ????
👍
I wear heavy duty gloves on my typewriter
I use HEAVY DUTY GLOVES because I don't want to catch an STD 😅😅😅
I know a gay guy who wears heavy duty gloves, I don't know why, but I bet it makes your eyes WATER 😅😅
Practice what you preach, and wear heavy duty gloves 😂😂😂😂
I’m afraid your hens might have allergies- they’re sounding like crows. Better get them some throat medicine.
Use your head and give it a Squeeze 😅😅😅
