Pay no attention to the seemingly derogatory name of the anthology, Pelevin is a Buddist troll. This is not one of his best works either - I'd say that if you want to really dig into something *disco* you should read (or better watch, it has an excellent movie adaptation) "Generation P" or "S.N.U.F.F." (content warning, very sad book to read considering the ongoing ru-ukr conflict, but the man basically somewhat predicted it in his book - but you did say you wanted disco-elysium alike, and it's like that - the harsh reality under the microscope peppered with dark humour, cynisim and eastern philosophy!)

Well some of it was, but I didn’t have the full quest with him covered off in one video. Worth noting that I’m currently re-doing lots of max stats videos because the quality of my old ones isn’t reflective of the quality I now want from my channel, and when I originally did them I didn’t really try and do anything outside of vanilla gameplay, so lots of bits are missing from not exploring every dialogue option.

i love fiction you can just make up stuff
