I want the expo system reworked so I have more meaningful choice to make to combine with my load out. I want to be able to define my role in a team as a warrior, tank, mage or support and pick expos that meaningfully change the experience to be favorable to my chosen play style I feel like not having staff/mage specific mind perks is a missed opportunity
@OPUP the exo point system definitely needs some work, especially for magic. I would still like flexibility in my role though. Something like a warrior support mage would be my ideal role, but idk how exactly that would work. Right now dungeons aren't hard enough for most that roles would even affect much, but once they are hard, I think more defined roles would be amazing.
@@jjbonta I think right now you have the least amount of flexibility. Mind perk, chest perk and legs perk have a best in slot that you wouldn't trade on purpose for an added benefit. Only the arms perks offer a meaningful difference based on your loadout. I think running with a shield and trading less knockback for speed is good for tanks. Mages might trade vitality for some burst protection since attacking from range is safer until you get surprised. That kind of thing, not trying to force you into a box, but giving you meaningful strategic decisions to make on your loadout.
Gesture based magic sounds like a real game changer! I love the idea! My biggest desire is for some type of matchmaking filters. A way to find people of similar level, who are looking to do the same types of activities. Speed running familiar dungeons isn't for everyone, but is a viable play style. While playing with people much higher level than you, leaves you at their mercy when faced with monsters much tougher than you. See you in Eternity! 🤟🧙♂🤟
I'm glad I'm not the only one that would love some gesture based magic! Matchmaking would be great though, especially as the game grows. My concern now is that the VR community is already so small compared to flatscreen and while this game is huge compared to others, it still might not be enough to justify matchmaking. Basically matchmaking might just add to frustration of trying to find a game when others aren't also looking.
Awesome video bro!! I never got to fully complete this game but it’s great to hear it still holds up after so much playtime. And I totally am with you, a deeper magic system would bring this game to a whole new level for me.
It's a great one to start with, but it might set your expectations a little to high for when you try other games lol. The developers are still working on the offline mode, but I wouldn't be surprised if that comes out this month or before the end of the year. Also, you can still play solo as long as you're online.
The problem i have with these games is the lack of visual identity. Looks so generic. Imagine this in the world of warhammer and it would be a perfect opportunity to call it Warhammer Quest like Games Workshop boardgame.
I see your point, there could eventually be more to it, but I haven't even thought about that after being immersed in the experience. Keep in mind that this game was developed by a small group of developers, not a AAA studio. There's definitely a lack of identity compared to flatscreen games, but what really sets this apart from every other game is that it's high quality VR physics based co-op combat. Even still, Dungeons of Eternity has an insane amount of potential in its lore and gameplay to build upon with a strong foundation. Also, I personally love that this game is its own IP rather than being limited to Warhammer IP. Not that Warhammer isn't great, but it allows the developers more freedom to focus on improving the game within its VR medium rather than copying existing IP from a completely different medium.
Not to mention this game is running on a standalone VR hardware, so it can't be quite as detailed as PC games yet. Still looks good in the Quest 2 and amazing in the Quest 3 imo.
@@jjbontaYeah i know of course the power of these devices is limited, but i'm talking more about the art direction not the technical side. @@ag578glaup5 interesting take. I guess I'm not one to focus much on the art direction of a game. I like what it is so far, but I think I can understand what you're saying. They do have imps (the horned enemies) and plan to add more enemies, so maybe we'll see orc trolls sometime soon.

Nice! I can almost guarantee they'll add more than 3 player dungeons in the future. Right now they're mostly limited by the large player base still on the Quest 2. I think either standalone tech will evolve enough to increase the player count or they'll have exclusive larger raids for Quest 3 and eventually PCVR players. Maybe Quest 2 players can play if they agree to the performance hit they'll take.

Thanks! You're right, I should've at least mentioned the workout. I did mention it in my previous video, but I don't think that particularly makes DoE special over other VR games. I also haven't really tried stealth tactics or seen others use them, so idk how viable they are.
This is the kind of game I want, but Dungeons of Eternity feels like theres no content. I felt like I did everything there was to do within 2 hours of playing
If you define content as a story mode then yes, the lore ends after the tutorial. However, there is so much potential for content with the random generation and multiplayer that creates endless different fun situations. They are also working to add dungeon challenges and assignments that I'm guessing will be like a story mode. What kind of content are you looking for?
I'm glad you like my videos! I've only made Dungeons of Eternity videos so far because I think it's the best VR game to date. I would consider a review for medieval dynasty if it was multiplayer or if I got sponsored to review it. However, it doesn't look like something I'd play instead of DoE.
I'm guessing you're talking about the armour on players and it's pretty great in my opinion. The armour is purely cosmetic, so you can look however you'd like and get tougher in game through the exo point system, kind of like a skill tree.
Yeah I've heard some people get motion sick from watching VR... makes sense. Hopefully DoE adds the streamer mode that Ghosts of Tabor has to help solve this problem. Just curious if you're willing to check, is the sickness worse watching my earlier DoE videos than this one?
What do you want to see added to Dungeons of Eternity?
More weapons
