Very useful knowledge; Even if you don't plan to paint your car they're still a valuable resource.

I only discovered it myself because i ran out of space for the paint in the shelf and figured i might as well try, since at the very least it'd still get rid of it like it does flares.

I must say, your bravado stunt paid off, though it was far too dangerous for your build. When you plan your routes you can easily avoid heavy radiation zones for now, until you get to lead panels and doors, also radiation suit. For now it's a matter of small grind in the safe zones, especially that you can repeat the zones previously visited and they will be procedurally regenerated with stuff to loot again. The game invites slow progression and exploration, at least until you take that anchor and activate the gate, then it's a mad dash to finish line XD

There is a setting that you can turn on in the settings menu. That setting will allow you to have your car fully repaired when you get back to the auto shop after you pass through a gateway

That skull and bones with the pocket watch on the item vacuum doesn’t really say anything, especially not about how long it stores items. It mostly just looks like decals or a random design. Maybe it kinda in a way tells us that we are running out of time but everything else also tells us that, and it’s such a small detail to register as telling us something about the machine and it not storing things indefinitely, so it’s easily missed not your fault Drae and no need to feel stupid or anything about it. It should have been put in like the description of the machine in like maybe bold letters or something more obvious then two small symbols that can easily be missed and/or mistaken as just some decals and nothing important to the function of the vacuum
