Which route should I prefer to Spiti as I m planning to go in September on my vehicle Manali or Shimla?
All routes to Spiti are open in Sep.. so you can actually choose either of them..... as per my previous experiences u can go via Manali side & return via Shimla side.

@@financeappsmartz2627 u have Gas Station in Reckong, then u can also find in Pooh.. .. after that in Kaza (which will be ur base for Spiti).. further in Keylong or when u come down from Rohtang side, its available... So no need to carry in container..

Stunning view. Is this trip possible for senior citizens? Can you share hotel names ,phone number etc. Can we explore these places with Innova or small car is preferable? Thanks in advance .
I would strongly suggest a 4X4 vehicle for this trip as roads are really challenging.. & don't self drive.. go with a professional driver only. If you are ok with high altitudes.. you will enjoy the calmness of this place.. ! all contact links are given in the description. Kaza is the base station.. u can either contact Amor Both - 9418774351 or find any other contact from Kaza itself. Or if u contact any travel agency in Manali or Shimla.. they will also guide you about the trip.

Nice. Earlier i have planned to drive spiti with my mom aged 78. It's a solo drive, but somehow it didn't materialized and I drove all the seven sisters of North East with my mom from tawang to mamuli to tamu to champai to unakoti and back to kolkata. Just after we reach covid lockdown started. Hope this year sept i will drive again and this time lahul spiti wt leh ladakh Srinagar back to kolkata

You can do this trip in 15-20K INR per head by opting for cheaper homestay & shared taxi or public transport !

What is the best time to visit spiti
Spiti vs leh (by air and local in cab)....
Leh by air and then local in cab... Looks better option
1. Pletue and no deep valleys
2. Always blue sky and no fog
3. Local are good may be Buddhist
4. Better / different view at different locations
5 . Blue lakes
6. Snow loaded peak around
What is your recommendation..I think leh tour is better option in scenic/ safety / comfort point of view.. spiti is more scary

I relived my 2019 spiti trip in this video, this place is soo close to my heart it's Serene and unlike Ladakh it's very quite and remote
