Vehicles are my nemesis! I always wing it, but can barely draw them side- or front-on, and this type of angle has always eluded me - resulting in things that look like clown cars drawn by Dr. Seuss, but without his actual skill.
Thanks for explaining it in terms of perspective. It actually makes sense now. If it weren't going to storm here today, I'd probably run right out to go sketch cars and trucks all day. Thank you for another great video! 😊
😊 glad I could help with the perspective 🙌🏼. Hope you get a chance to do some sketching soon!
Great video! I wouldn’t know where to begin with a car 😂 the guidelines are super helpful
good to hear you found them helpful! Especially tricky with a car like this with so many curves😊
Another amazingly easy to follow tutorial, Scottie! I followed along and it came out soooo good, my husband was shocked hahhaha. I wish I could show you, you'd be proud.
That's so good you could follow along and you're happy with it!! There the best stories to hear🙌🏼
Perspective lines are very useful here
Scottie your break downs are getting better with every video! Great examples & visuals. Its been wonderful to see your growth & expertise get dialed in. Your continued YT growth is a reflection of all the work you put in.
Thanks so much Alphonzo! Great to have such awesome support from my long term subscribers like you!!🤗
Great job! i like scarab cars very much. Thank you very much!
Amazing
You are always emphasising silhouette tech. But its very tough for a beginner. Dots is always easy
Oh I think I did use dots in this tutorial? I like to use a combination of both because there is a limit to how many dots you can place before it gets confusing. If you find outlining the big shapes challenging, I’d suggest using pencil to find those shapes before ink.
I love your videos. I've watched so many and learned so much. I'm really struggling to draw trees and bushes in urban environments. I've want to include them in my urban drawing (or even landscape), but I'm not sure how to go about adding them. Often there are trees behind trees and it's hard to define the background tree from the foreground tree. Smaller tree trunks seem easier, with larger tree trunks it's hard to figure out how to fill the empty space in the trunk. Thanks so much for all your videos!
Very cool, perspective is tricky for me and I loved how you tackled it
Glad you liked the perspective templates!
You are soooo good❤
