    Shaitan makes us think we’re missing out on temporary joy the whole time we’re missing out on something with Allah سبحانه وتعالى 😢 May He تبارك وتعلى make it easy for us to wear the correct hijab. It’s obviously possible may Allah forgive us.

    Always spiiting bars out here. „When you’re confident in your difference, they admire you!!“, facts. Also it’s so true about the temptation of pictures. What I have done is put these pictures and videos on a separate stick and into a folder that I barely look at. However, what I have found is that there are some pictures when I look at them, I‘m glad I am not that person anymore and also glad how much I have changed. I‘m not sure whether I would delete them because it kind of serves a reminder of how far I‘ve come but interesting topic for sure

      Jazakallahu khair sis 🥹❤️ & I agree it can be a reminder for sure and may Allah reward you for seeing it like that. if it’s affecting you negatively then I’d definitely say don’t look at them until you feel ready

    Subhanallah this topic is so relevant to me rn Aisha u gotta stop stalking me fr LOLL but I recently committed to taking the next step with my hijab and to only wear skirts/abayas and subhanallah Allah is really testing me. A friend of mine reminded me that subhanallah once you make a sacrifice for the sake of Allah he will test you for your sincerity and that was really a powerful reminder for me to help me fight the whispers of shaytan. It's really not easy and I don't know how things are gonna go for me in the future, especially looking for job opportunities in my field where a lot of the work will require me to compromise my new attire but as hard as it is and as much as shaytan is trying to make me think I will never find a job and threatening me with poverty because that's what he does ~ I'm doing my best to trust in Allah and have firm belief that he will make a way out for me cuz whoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, Allah will give them something far greater. It's so much easier said than done though... like when the opportunity is right there in front of you all the whispers come back but that's why what you said was so spot on about lowering your gaze and closing any door that's going to affect you negatively. If it's out of sight it's out of mind fr may allah keep us steadfast 😞.

      Rent free in your head 😭😭 & may Allah reward you and keep you steadfast sis 💕💕 you said it all and you are aware. That’s the most important thing, when he whispers things you know it’s him trying to put things in your head

    I think we need to revisit what exactly awrah is and what it covers.

    • @meiiilin
      @meiiilin  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree but do you think my awrah is showing or something

    • @SheCanSmile
      @SheCanSmile 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@meiiilin Not at all I just think if we receive and seek out more reminders about what the awrah entails then it can help with wearing the hijab properly. Sometimes I style my scarf in ways that parts of my neck show. Some ladies wear hijab but then their fringe/ponytail/hairline are showing etc. I heard the feet and toes showing is part of awrah so does that mean one cannot wear open shoes/sandals? Etc

    The best hijab is discipline first, before covering yourself.
