The Head Coach making the decision to keep going on 4th down really ended up hurting the Chargers. Other than that both teams made the game very close.

I get the 1st one. 1st drive of the game, you want to start agressive... I am fine with that.
But then? The Chargers are up by 4, 3 seconds left in the half and you dont take a field goal? WHY? And then the 3rd one.. 1st drive of the 2nd half, Chargers up by one and again they go for the 4th! Why dont make it a 4 point game again to force the Chiefs to go fot the TD again? And why in the blue hell do it a 4th time? Ok this time it worked but still, TAKE THE FREAKING POINTS IF YOU ARE IN FRONT!
No matter how this game ended. This is not "they just needed one to win" Those 3 decisions were dumb AF by themself in the specific situation of the game! No matter what happened after that!
As a Chargers fan, It hurt to watch the actual game. But I had to wait a couple of days before Chisled got into it.

Unfortunately Mahomes is one of the QB darlings of the league. Defenses are gonna get flagged in the regular season for as little as breathing on him. Gotta wait until the playoffs to rough him up.

Parham probably suffered a seizure from his head injury which was why he was stiff like a statue and shaking as he was carted off. Hopefully it's not major, however as we know with DT, seizures can be life altering and fatal.

That's wasn't a seizure(he would either have been shaking or eyes moving back and forth) that was the fencing position happens when you are brutally knocked out(UFC and boxing is more likely to have it happen).
@@gabrielkelly2631 not all seizures are the same. It very well could have just been a really hard knock out and I really hope that's all it was. However, there are certain types of seizures where the neurons fire so rapidly they counteract each other and it ends up just causing the muscles to clench. Either way hope he's good to go.

of those lock muscles like that. First one you seize up and let go seize up and let go. The other type is called a staring spell where you stare and barley blink and move tho muscles arent locked

A lot of people do not understand the circumstances regarding going for it on 4th down. It’s a change that I’m happy to see despite the outcome of the game.
First off, the kickers have been CURSED since they cut Josh Lambo for Younghoe Koo. Koo might be doing well in Atlanta now, but when he kicked for the Chargers he sucked and cost them 4 games to open the season. The Curse of Josh Lambo is real. 😳
Second off, the Chargers are trying to change their identity and culture. They’ve played it safe to their detriment with Shottenheimer (RIP), Turner, and McCoy. Lynn tried to change some things, but it was so inconsistent that it ended up costing him his job. Staley is going all in on changing this team. Will he need to dial it back some eventually? Probably, but it’s better to overshoot and adjust than to not do enough and not do shit.
Thirdly, the difference with this game was execution. The Chiefs did a better job at it than the Chargers did and the only reason people are second guessing now is because they failed. Look at the other games where they’ve succeeded. This game is the outlier.
Lastly, I’ve been saying it since the preseason, I was worried about the defense. It seems like all the pieces are there but they don’t work well together as a team within a team. They can’t stop the run, they often don’t get pressure on the QB, and the DBs get burnt 1-2 times a game after being solid for most of it. It’s very inconsistent play and I’m not sure how that gets fixed other than switching out some personnel. If the Chargers lose, it will be the defense that costs them the game, not Staley going for it on 4th down.
