How do people spend this sort of money on a baby shower, goodness me, what the money spent on, we don’t do many baby showers in the UK, what’s that money spent on. I went to one, we had crisp and snacks, and took a small gift, like vests, or nappies small gifts for the baby sounds as if yours have gone just crazy, £1000 each from 2 people.
For this shower it was explained on the invoice, there was a DJ who provided free service, the Plaintiff hired an event planner, venue, tables, chairs, catered food, decorations, etc.....I think it's too much, the Plaintiff went overboard because she was expecting half from the defendant, glad she didn't get the full amount. I felt bad for the defendant, but she could have said No, and contribute what she could afford.

But we had to get over a lot of mess. Families don't always treat everyone fairly or equally. I paid for many family events but my children and grandchildren got nothing. Lots of chapters in that novel Oh they did get my grandson a used car seat or stroller but my daughter never got it.
