I might be mistaken but I think it was worth mentioning this bike from 1935 on was the world´s first with hidraulic front forks. As a comparision HD introduced theirs in the late 40´s.

If this was a wartime bike it would have been painted in field-grey rather than black unless of course it served in North Africa in which case it would be beige

I live in Bavaria now, stationed in germany. I found out recently I can ship motorcycles for free with house hold goods. So looking at Facebook market around here, I find about a dozen of old bmw motorcycles for very reasonable prices, like a 1928 r52 for 5000 euros ($5000) in what looks like the same condition as this bike. If these are so rare and desirable, why is it so affordable in the used market today? And how much can I flip it for in the US?
