Rotax has always been one of my favourite classes to drive. It teaches a lot more than other engines on throttle control / modulation and the way the power is delivered you need to be precise
Thoughts on using wd40 and gladwrap on the tyres? I used to do this when i raced on dirt and concrete (however it was more like concrete as it was dry compact sandstoney looking ground) a few others did it but not everyone. Ive just started in tag with karting Australia and i dont know if its worth doing anymore.
To be honest, I’m not sure of the science behind glad wrapping tyres. I’ve never done it in 30 years of racing. Hasn’t seemed to affect my on track performances
Its funny, I've always used Rotax, the way its designed and the aesthetics makes everything else look like it was built in the 70s 😂

naah mate does absolutely nothing. Most entitled kiddies get a set of new tyres for qualifying and one for the race.

Can't forget about chain tension. Session won't go so well if the chain tension is off. Otherwise great video 👍
Great point! Too loose and you’re grabbing it with the trolley 🥹
