Thank you so much for doing all these videos and sharing your knowledge!
My pleasure!
Great video as always, thank you.
thank you!
Great tips brother :)
thanks boss
@@PowerRepublic I still need to bring my kart to you to have you straighten the axle, do you offer pick up by any chance?
Wow. Thanks mate, this couldnt have come at a better time
yeah we forget that we all had our first day sometime and that it isn't that easy!
Love the look of the PR sticker kit Derrick, keep up the great vids
Thanks legend
Cooles Video zu den Basics!! 👍🏻
obrigardo
I did learn one new thing: I need to get a rubber handle for my trolley instead of race tape :)
hahaha
I did such a good job with customising my dpe trolley I kept it after selling my last kart 9 years ago. Just in case...
Im told the local track reopens next week, so im hoping to put this into practice..
yeah boi, get some!
Hi. thank you so much for this video.I would like to try another setup of front axcle (i have a Tony kart 401 Racer). For you, in what order should I start testing? 2 clicks of camber, then full caster , then lower the front end (with 2 small spacer)
yeah that a great start. make sure you record your 'feedback' from the test sessions. Also too, what exactly the problems/solutions/outcomes you are trying to achieve. Hope that helps Diego. thanks heaps for writing and tuning in! 😊
Hey, nice video as always 😊 What about tilting the kart like that at 4:00 .. to get it down from the trolley .. is it safe for the brakes (in terms of bleeding) or carburetor?
Hey Z, yeah it’s fine. The carb will level out and it won’t effect your brakes
Good tyre pressure tool, I see many people on the track with a car version.
Where did he mention that
Ibraheem H it’s important 😉
@@WesOKT which one do u use?
Ibraheem H prisma
@@WesOKT cheers mate
Hi any tips on how to deal with a rear wheel hub slipping along the axle 🙏🏼
yeah clean it with brake cleaner and emery paper. then apply some paint pen to the axle. then put the hub back on
lucky my track has an excellent Shop right next door. My kart wouldn't start rang them and they drove out and replaced my spark plug totally free.
props to the local kart shops getting it done for the new guys!!!
yeh the intro :)
epic times Niko
Ok, I recently discovered I like driving cars, around corners, as fast as I can. As a noob, what's better? A track/roadworthy rally/roadster, Speedway racing or karts? Do you do all three? Could be a great episode. It all kicked off with a day in a V8 at Queensland raceway. What an unreal experience! We backed it up with a few laps at the Pimpama kart track which was also cool and a surprisingly not the same but comparable experience. But I' sure nothing on a shifter-kart? Give us the low down please. I also have some mates that race speedway so I'd like to know you're opinion on that?
karts are best for the amount of laps you get per day. start there cause its a mad buzz, at a fraction of the car racing cost. plus you get loads more laps which is perfect if you are a new guy
I think as a starter you also want to have a tire inflator. The one on for my bike also works for the kart. Always want to go to the track if i see your video's.
Is there any online (good) video you know about how to change your rotax max piston? They say it is realy simple but i don't want to mess things up.
you can watch our videos, we have a video about to drop on the Rotax engine. Drop me a message through our website and we can let you know when it is ready
I second the inflator. It's wonderful to have a small portable inflator right on the stand tray ready to go. I impulse purchases a Ryobi for $25. The battery lasts all day and it's right there next to a good air gauge.
What is the Denso plug youu recommend for the Rotax evo sr.?
hey mate, we use and recommend the Denso Power Iridium IW24 - IW31 heat range spark plugs
Hehe, the more videos I watch, the more I want to get back into racing...
Hey Paul, that's awesome news and pretty much what the videos are all about. get a kart, get out racing and have some fun
@@PowerRepublic Hehe, I will do sometime. I'm in Brisbane, so I will come visit some day...
Cheers. Great videos.
Hi can you do a Rotax max evo senior vs x30 such as lap times , top speed , engine performance.... please
Hey Faris, at which track?
My karting starts tomorrow Sunday ik time
get out there!
my wheels are so bent on that freaking trolley!!
update to the solid alloy's. second best thing you will buy this year
Could you guys please make a video of Iame OK engine?😍
Hey Elliot, I'll have to get on to IAME and get them to send one out for me so I can take it for a burn
@@PowerRepublic Great man! Looking forward to it!
Where can I buy that trolley?
Are you in Australia?
Nope
@@justinbernache944 where about do you live? Mondo Kart in EU are good and Comet Kart Sales in USA
Is it possible to transport the kart by a sedan?
yeah it sure is. you have to remove wheels and plastics
You could strap it to the top lol.
Is that a Tony kart in the video???
sure is, DD2 with the power republic sticker kit
@@PowerRepublic what chassis do you reccomend for a lo206 setup??? I'm new to this just getting into this
Worst chain lube and trolley ever..
