- This is my INSANE trip to Bhutan where I do something that is completely ILLEGAL in this country... (at least it was up until last year!)

@BeyondMyles You said you were able to go to Bhutan without a guide. But I couldnt find any news on the net that guides are no longer required. In fact you are the only I have seen who said this is possible in some 10 videos I have seen on the subject. I am planning a trip to Bhutan and confused with this. Any help or clarifications is appreciated.

Did you visited any attraction during solo travelling?
Yes, my favourite was the hot bath!

Which month did you travel? Did you use usd currency or local currency? Where do you exchange money? Do you have to tip?
I was there in January. Used local currency from an ATM, and I didn't notice any tipping!
Bhutan is an independent country…Bhutanese go in United state as refugee Tibetan but Bhutanese and Tibetans are not same …Bhutan is a i dependent country and Tibet is still under China ….so Bhutanese are not Tibetan and Tibetan are not Bhutanese …they are completely different and it’s in the map ..it shows very clearly …so guys not mess is up …hahaha bit careful and look around in map
