You're getting so much new stuff!!!!
Always be hunting! Hahaha most are cheap. $20-$30 with shipping. There are just so many tinys and minis. I’ve been seeking out a lot of the oddballs and have been doing good
Oh man! You found a Mighty Shovel in good shape but with a broken window - I was wishing I could find one with a broken window like that so I could insert a figurine in the cab without breaking it myself and use it for filming purposes!
Yes I was pleasantly surprised with it. It looked a lot rougher when I bought it from the Facebook live sale
Might be picking up a 1970’s mini Tonka cement mixer!. Not sure how much they go for but definitely next on my list!.
Cool I have a 71 orange mini mixer with the silver/gray wheels in mint condition. Was $45 from eBay shipped. Should be around there for one in good shape with shipping and everything. I love the mixers of all sizes
@@mightytonkamadness thank you most trucks you get are from eBay?.
@@cedricmorris23 I’ve picked up a lot from eBay but I’ve also got alot from facebook marketplace from all over the country as well as local antique shops and local toy shows. Even fellow collectors. I’m just hunting all the time. The hardest part is being patient. While many can be considered “rare” they will pop from time to time. There are many people that just buy and sell and they ALWAYS have high prices. If you’re just looking to score a couple here and there it’s ok to pay a little more but if you’re after them all like myself hahahaha than scout around to compare prices before making a purchase. Most things can be shipped for under $30 with a majority closer to $20
I have that Van in Black
Cool I have a silver van for one of my car carriers but no black yet in the mini size. Just a tiny
The model is a peach of a truck & I love it. They are not 2023 models but I love it. My question is, how can you prevent the scuffs from happening?
All the toys are in gently played with condition. The mighty shovel is 57 years old. Once I get them I clean them up and some I polish and wax then they sit on the shelf. Not much you can do to prevent damage. It’s just from play over the decades
@@mightytonkamadness I agree, I feel like they were new once, they'll never be new again but over All they are sharp. The new paint smell on these models won't stay forever.
@@LuisUrbieta a quick polish and they shine up nice but they still have their battle scars from decades of play. I love them like that. I always imagine the stories they can tell. A friend said something cool one time, we don’t own them we are just their caretakers for a while. When we’re gone the next caretaker takes over but the toys will last forever
@@mightytonkamadness Oh that is sweet. I guess model trucks won't have their factory paint that can last mint permanently.
Really? I've seen a couple first year shovels online, including one that wouldn't sell for months!
I’ve seen a couple but usually expensive. I grabbed this one for $35
