  • A beautiful afternoons walking to two of the lower Wye Valleys best viewpoints. The Devils Pulpit near Tintern and the Eagles Nest viewpoint near Chepstow. Lovely relaxing walks and epic Wye valley views.

Brilliant Adam. It was so good to see you in the Lower Wye. I was saying to myself, 'wait until he sees the Devils Pulpit view.' You are right it has that magical quality to it. As for the Eagles Nest I think it's probably one of the best river views in the country. It's so sweeping. It was great to hear you enjoy the woodland. That's the lower Wye hands down - woodland/forest for miles. I see Mags had a blast too. Well, thanks for the shout-out - so appreciated. There's more to explore. Have a great week ahead. All the best as always. Mark

@@WyeExplorer Hi Mark thanks a lot for the comment, I agree one is magical and one is sweeping! Maggs had a great time always running off ahead of me lol. Your labour of love website was very appreciated as it gave me the inspiration to go. Was a nice break from the Beacons too. Thanks a lot for watching, look forward to some more Wye based walks. Catch up soon have a great week too. Adam

@@adamradford2285 A pleasure Adam. It was really good to see you out there - the Wye Valley is a national gem. Maggs seems to know that already. What do they say? 'A break is as god as a rest.' The Beacons will always be there. I will have a good week. Take care. Peace.

What a great couple of viewpoints Adam. I was fortunate a few years ago to do a walk run by the LDWA called the Offas Dkye Kanker walk. It started in Chepstow and included both viewpoitns with some lovely woodland and then dropping down into the basin of the Wye.... I think I did the version of it which was about 12 miles - fair to say I was knackered when I finished. Over the years I have watched many of Mark's walks and whenever the Wye is mentioned in places his name pops into my mind. I went for a drive up through the Elan Valley with the wife yesterday and as I drove one spot I thought Mark was stood by there doing filming on one of his wye walks..lol atb Alan

@@thevalleywalker Hi Alan thanks for the message mate. Wow 12 miles is a great distance and probably a lot of up and down that valley. It was a beautiful place , I couldn’t believe I hadn’t bothered to go all these years until now!
Lovely day out which part of Elan did you go to? I reckon you probably saw Mark lol as he’s in Rhayader this weekend for a walking trip! Hope you enjoyed it there , I found it very beautiful and impressive on my visit and can’t wait to go back. Hope your wife is recovering well. Best wishes
