Instead of just throwing stuff away I like to participate in slow movements that focus on quality. To some it may seem excessive, but there is beauty in excessive engineering.

It is not 10k and I bought it second hand. The watch is over 20 years old and still keeps accurate track of the most valuable commodity. How is it not minimalist? I wear it everyday and enjoy it, however this does not mean that my happiness is dependent on it.

The camera takes better photos than the phone, I do freelance photography on the side. I bring a notebook and pen because it is easier to sketch out schematics then it is on a touchscreen phone. I work in the lab where you come in constant contact with harsh chemicals, having to constantly wash your hands dries your skin out, ergo hand cream. Tailor tape is used for clothing measurements since I freelance clothing photography.

If you got the phone for the camera you should've known better than to get an iPhone. they have extremely over done filters for portrait and blurry shots. unless shooting in RAW files on iPhone, I would recommend the Google Pixel 3 / 3XL.
