Good to have more content. I have been missing it. I am so envious of Todd. I would love to find a Porsche to spend time restoring.

Wow, to think that these discoveries are still taking place is remarkable. The still picture of the black 356 was stunning. Thanks for providing this fun experience for us. It’s funny how I can’t stop looking at the car as it is a work of art.

Great video James. Good to see you back after the xmas break. My first Porsche was in fact one of the last 356 Porsches before the mighty 911 took over the reigns, a 1964 356C. A rare original right hand drive car that I bought from the original owner in Sweden. Car was immaculate and I had it serviced by a true Porsche engineering legend by the name of Eric Studer. Eric was an old school Porsche fanatic and had raced them back in the day. He died a few year ago but is sorely missed. Eric was definitely a huge influence on my love for all things Porsche. The biggest regret I have ever had in my life was selling the car back in the 80s as i dont think I will ever see another one quite like it. Silver with black leather..what a car!

Prof. Porsche 1947: " I couldn't find a car I really liked , so I built my own (356) . I guess this statement is still valid. Great car with the patina.

Great video as always. Looking forward to what happened to the 996 - is the chassis twisted? Looking forward to the new car/cars - GT3 or Touring maybe? But most of all looking forward to loads more flip flop mechanics, carbon fibre and rear wipers!

Hey Todd, do yourself a favor and get Harry Pellow's book, "The ABC'S (and 912's) of Porsche Engines or Porsche Engines". They are getting expensive but it will help you immensely when you go to put the engine together. Competition Engineering will do a great job for you but the Porsche engine is not the same as a VW.

This 356A is quite rare, it is just like mine, transitional from T1 to T2 model, Made only in a few numbers, the hubs are wrong (from a B series) part of the steering wheel has been cut off.... Tell this guy to not mess it up by doing wrong things to it and loose all the value
