    The expansion of markets and pressures for endless growth in material consumption are not contingent features of a dynamic capitalist economy; they are intrinsic to an economy rooted in the competitive drive for profits and capital accumulation. Any serious effort to counteract systemic consumerism, therefore, must also attempt to transcend capitalism.     16:30 - not true, there are examples of Free Territory of Ukraine and Revolutionary Spain, two anarchist societies with multimillion population which had egalitarian, emancipatory, directly-democratic political and economic institution.

      the first one was destroyed by the bolsheviks, the second one by the fascists and also bolsheviks..

      In regards to Catalonia, NO. The bolsheviks weren't responsible for its collapse, do your research.
      How are you going to abolish the state before doing away with the material conditions that produce that states existence...
