I almost feel like Spartacus was wasted as a berserker. What do you think?
Sorta, he should be given another class as a 3* at least, but a berserker fits his lore and it’s done well to represent him as a mad version.
Given he didn't even get a conclusion in the summary for Apocrypha, I can definitely agree that he was wasted. Then again he didn't really have much to do given the other Reds stole the spotlight.
He got a wasted spot in Apocrypha, there wasn't enough "oppression" in Apo for him to completely show his "Potential" which was luckily fixed in S I N, in which he not only did the same as Arash in Camelot, but he actually got to show off how powerful he is, which he is.
At least later on in FGO Spartacus got quite a spotlight in LB3 (due to Urobuchi involved which both wrote the story and character concept of Spartacus)
heh, I don't, what I find iffy is his only fixation on "crushing oppressors", which makes him look more like a madman than an idealistic leader, which I find very reductive of his personality.

Funny story about Spartacus. He actually has amazing compatibility with Shirou, considering the latter always picks fights with stronger opponents and his whole hero of justice schtick.

If I remember in FGO he plays a much bigger role later on.
Kinda he was in Rome and did help out the protagonist but I would have to say he was a minor character sadly and he is if I remember I a 2star servant so game-wise yeah game screwed him over

You know, this is the first ever Servant that actually is true to my prediction as in appearance. You have King Arthur who is female and then you have Nero who is also female, I sorta saw it coming for Jack the Ripper to be a girl. But Spartacus is the first I recognized.

@@loganwynn2337 He also gains the ability to negate any attack he has succesfully survived and can even reflect it. kinda like Herc's Godhand resistance but with the bonus of reflecting the attack back to the opponent

Man I've freaking love spartacus ever since I was a kid. Back during my final year of Elementary school we all had to recite the history of a person from either Rome, Greece or ancient Eygpt and I was fortunate enough to be chosen for Sparatacus. Granted I didn't really later realize just how big of a badass Sparatacus was at the time (We may have been able to choose and I probably chose Sparatacus because of his name). But man the guy is such a badass......to bad he became oppressed by his own madness.

Its actually kinda ironic that Spartacus as a servant is such a muscle head for the most part, when in real life hes probably an even better tactician and leader compared to even the likes of Iskandar, considering how he fought the strongest power of the ancient world with just slaves.
His charisma is also very impressive, imagine having to take care of and train over a hundred thousand slaves who all rely on you to free them from slavery against the power that id Rome and they all speak different languages that you don't even understand.
Nonetheless, zerk Spartacus is still awesome and I quite like how hes represented when put into the container of a bersker class (ME makes only think about rebellion to the point of madness). Hence my name

I must correct you on one insignificant point, gladiatorial games weren't always to the death, gladiators were damn expensive to train and were very well fed and maintained. Sure, it wasn't all fun and games, but not the worst, in fact, some theorize that gladiators did not always fight with sharp weapons, and mostly died from accidental injuries, rather than being killed during combat, as it would have been an insesible waste of money (much like if modern day football players died every time they went on the field to play). Also the whole thumb thing is mostly Holliwood nonsense.

one of the FGO character i wish they redesign him or have other classess. Because historically he is awesome and should be higher stars.
Stars don't mean jack. Just better stats. Cu Chuhlian is a 3 star and he can pretty much solo almost any boss if grailed.

I watched the scene in FGO where he sacrificed himself against the meteor. That was so awesome.
Future Servants I hope they do:
Spartacus - Saber: For obvious reasons.
Medusa - Caster: Since Blood Fort Andromeda uses Runes and Breaker Gorgon lets her enter dreams and make illusions.
Medea - Rider: This version would be able to summon and control the dragon who guards the Golden Fleece.
Kriemhild - Saber: She would wield a copy of her husband Siegfried's sword Balmung, since in Nibelungenlied, she wielded it to avenge his death. Plus, I want to see her reunite with Siegfried and Altera. OT3!
Aife - Rider: She would have her chariot and horses. Plus, it would be awkward and hilarious to see her reunite with Scathach and Cu Chulainn, since she's one of the only people to defeat Cu in battle and she's the mother of his son Connla.
Guinevere - Caster? Rider? I'm not sure, I just want her in FGO.
Morgan Le Fay - Caster: Same reason as Guinevere.
Gilgamesh - Rider: He would use Vimana and his motorcycle GilGil Machine.

I would like to see Medea and/Medusa as berserkers. Some servants I want the future are Perseus, Theseus, The Wright brothers, Abraham Lincoln and John Henry
@Dork Blade I mean in theory Gilgamesh could be any class right. Even if he lacks the qualifications he can use his treasures to make up for it like he did in his caster class.

Megatron is the Transformers version of Spartacus Why You might ask? In the aligned continuity of "Transformers Prime" Megatron fought in the gladiator pits of Kaon and later after Orion Pax became Optimus Prime fought against the Autobots with his Decepticon forces.
I get that he’s a berserker, but his character design disappointed me, same with Gilles. I wonder if he at least looked “normal” during his early career.

Yeah stars aren’t a good indicator of in universe strength for servants there are many examples of servants stated to be top tier or powerful being like three stars. Their just a game mechanic like curt stars.
Leonidas is literally just 2 stars, if anyone was done dirty it was Greece's second most popular hero.

Its been hinted to be her strongest class but for some reason she hates it
there's also a theory that this servant might show up as a grand rider or beast IV
the reason its beast IV is because that beast is associated with the color red, has a chariot has ten crowns and seven horns and is anti messiah, he is the beast of revelation, all of these (except the last one) fits her in her rider class
(this probably why she hates her rider form) (these description also fits Satan but i don't think he'll be added)

beast IV is cath palug. Mother harlot probably is the remaning half of beast VI, along with the beast of revelation that arthur fought in prototype. We are probably gonna get her in the prortotype collab that we are 99% getting, as perseus and proto gil are among the few og datamine servants not yet in the game

i havent read fate proto yet (plan on doing it) but im sure the one from proto wasnt beast of revelation, must be the beast VII
FYI- I just found out the beast VI is associated with number 666 and there is a theory that the number 666 and 616 (both numbers of the beast) come from Nero's name. By using Gematria (Jewish alphabet to number system) on Nero's name in Hebrew outputs either 666 or 616 depending on the version of the name.
