@@redrumloa Y-cable lol. It's what we used back in the day if you had a stereo. And if you hooked up to a stereo TV it did it internally and came out both speakers.
The Commodore version? Maybe I'm just older and/or out of practice, but the 128/64 version seems much harder than I remember wither the arcade or Amiga versions.
@@redrumloa Yep. I agree with you that the Amiga and arcade versions (which I've only ever played in MAME) seem easier. I don't recall ever playing it in an actual arcade.
Oh *that* game! I never did play it when it came out. I'll give it a go in the near future. Thanks for reminding me! Good timing with the 128D with desk space for a while!
I don't see it. What is C128 about this? I was expecting a game in VDP mode, but it still looks like C64 graphics. Does it run 2MHz in V-blank or what? Try finding true C128 games, with VDP high res graphics.
Yes this game uses the Vic-II and gets a speed boost when run on a 128. Action games that use the VDC (80 column mode) are pretty rare. There are some recent-ish ports such as Gunfright that use it. Gunfright uses the VDC in 320x200 with a full 16 color, no limitation. th-cam.com/video/Z_H68-GsQuw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nj_MKrsYgTcz1QsX
Loving the C128 content on here!
My left ear enjoyed this.
Commodore 64 and 128 are mono computers, just one channel. I've thus far kept it authentic on real hardware.

Such a great game. I used to play it while talking on the phone. :)

Thank you for the videos. You cured my ignorance using the Chameleon 64 & GEOS. Could you please run the C64 version for comparison's sake?
Yeah, it would be interesting to see if additional RAM is used for anything.
I'll see what I can do today.

Have you tried the native C128 game "Volley for two"?
Don't believe I have. I'll take a look for it.
