Health board sttucture is the problem. Look who sits on the Fraser health authority board for example. Lobbyists, consultants, pharmaceutical reps, political appointments. Met John yesterday at the Abbotsford rally (July 21) alongside Korky Neufeld. I was really impressed. John comes from the resource industry, he has worked for a living. John will bring calm, rational, objective leadership to this province so, whatever we can do to support him and Team Blue, we must do. If we, as British Columbians, want change, we have to get out and push for that change. I lost my job in January and, it's been a struggle but, I can spare $100 to support this effort. The BC Conservatives have a cap on the amount donated ($1400) so it's clear that John and his team are about delivering effective government that works for us all. When he said that he would show Bonnie Henry the door if elected, the whole place erupted in cheers. Great turnout, let's bring this home!
And of course we don't keep violent repeat offenders in jail. We see all sorts of buildings burning down, but the forest fires are all climate change right? I mean we have to keep the carbon tax slush fund going.

Hopefully if elected John Rustad will clean house at the BC Wildfire Service and implement a firefighting approach that will prevent homes and communities from burning down. I fought fire through the 80's, 90's and early 2000's we never had towns and communities burning down back then. Infact very few homes burned down back in the day when local residents were permitted to suppress and contain wildfires when they first started near their communities. It's time to bring back the practice of equipping and allowing willing and capable local residents to action wildfires when they start near their communities.

The wisdom of the day you don't have to know anything about an organization to manage it. Really? As an Administrative Nursing Coordinator on the off shift I had one foot in administration , the other on the front line. I was available to help, fulfill a need, or manage a problem. I was inhospitable recently . My roommate during her 5 day stay had not been given an oppopportunity to wash or brush her teeth. Mr Rustad you are impressive.

I'm 60 now and my life is still affected , have never had a place to call home since. I appealed the decision all the way to a tribunal. Don't be fooled like every one was under Gordon Campbell/ Christi Clark Con's/ reform , posing as BC liberals. They are the reason why. homelessness, crime , drugs house prices, and rents got to this point. I lived through it I remember.

The only common sense plan I have heard for our Health Care. I am one of those in BC that has not had a doctor for the past 6 years. As my doctor's retired, they were not being replaced. I fully support this plan.
The single biggest problem is the fact that we don't educate doctors in our subsidized tax-free medical schools to practice here. We don't have any doctors it doesn't matter what system you have if you don't have doctors to do the job.

I've been dealing with a damaged shoulder for 4 years now! I just saw a surgeon today and he was trying to talk me out of surgery because my shoulder is in such bad shape. That of course directly the result of nobody wanting to help me for 4 years now. I'm going ahead and was told surgery will be in 4 to 6 months from today. So do the math injury in mid 2020 add 4-6 months I may be 4.5 approaching 5 years to get care. They can cut funding by 99% and I doubt I'll notice it until they operate on me without anesthesia I guess. Our country is a joke and our healthcare is an utter joke.

In my community of Logan Lake, BC, we've had a revolving door of doctors coming from places like South Africa, and Sudan, who come here for the required three year term then disappear to places unknown. It's been like this for fifteen years. In addition, our nearest ER, in Merritt, has been closed almost more often than it has been open, due to shortage of staff, either doctors or nurses. The system is crumbling before our eyes. It certainly seems like there are more chiefs than Indians. That is not meant to be racist, just a fact. There are more paper shufflers than actual people on the front lines. Our last doctor left in December of 2023, and there seems to be no replacement in the near future. Our only hope seems to be with TurD'oh's open borders, that we might get a VooDoo doctor from Haiti to fill in the vacant position.

In my community of Logan Lake, BC, we've had a revolving door of doctors coming from places like South Africa, and Sudan, who come here for the required three year term then disappear to places unknown. It's been like this for fifteen years. In addition, our nearest ER, in Merritt, has been closed almost more often than it has been open, due to shortage of staff, either doctors or nurses. The system is crumbling before our eyes. It certainly seems like there are more chiefs than Indians. That is not meant to be racist, just a fact. There are more paper shufflers than actual people on the front lines. Our last doctor left in December of 2023, and there seems to be no replacement in the near future. Our only hope seems to be with TurD'oh's open borders, that we might get a VooDoo doctor from Haiti to fill in the vacant position.

Well said.my doctor of 30 years has retired her practise in order to get a nepotism job by government.her replacement came from Ukraine.He was here for two years and last month sent me a letter saying he is moving on but he was kind enough to put me on a waiting list for a GP.lol😂😂😂😂 what a joke this ndp is.Dix(dicks) and the disease called Bonnie Henry will be shown the door.do let it hit you in the aass in the way out 😂😂
