I don't get this. Wouldn't he have more experience and skill if he started at an early age? Haven't watched thr show in a long time and I forgot if it was ever explained why he's just realizing his power at an adult age and not before.
@@jamesmccloud7535 It was basically something like that his family wanted him to have a normal life ...I know his Mother and his Aunt were Grimm and that His Aunt was gonna marry a Wesen and not ALL Grimms consider ALL Wesen to be bad.....but also exposing a child to all those Creatures *right after his parent died*....Was probably not the right head space for him to start training in and eventually she saw no point because he showed no traits and was a preteen/early teen when he moved in with her after his parents death....and then his Aunt got Cancer and was dying and THATS when he started showing his traits

the most ironic part of the series is that nick being raised not as a grimm was what made him better than the grimm who came before.
