Krista and Derek were made to be. When their first marriage's didn't work out, they fell in love as Derek was buying jewelry for his daughter. They decided that Colorado was the place they wanted to make it official so they boarded a plane and headed towards the mountains to show the world they belong together.

Do bystanders normally not have the decency to move out of the shot? I’m wanting to do this but that’s my biggest worry about it. I feel like if I saw someone eloping I’d atleast move out of frame or go to a different spot

That's a great question! People are normally very compassionate and understanding that you're getting married so typically tend to stay out of the way :) I've been filming and photographing elopements for years now and haven't really had much of an issue with people getting in the way. Especially once you start to choose locations with your local photographer/videographer, they will typically know specific locations that the general public may not wander towards :)
