Honestly, the Greymoor chapter tutorial was way better than this current Balfiera Isle one. Plus it avoided the whole "Chosen One" narrative/trope.

Agree, they are definitely not all created equal.

I tried this game with an Xbox controller and keyboard +mouse but I still struggled with both. I'm gonna try it again though. Good luck with your attempt 😅😊👍.

Yeah. Then you start to notice everything is stupid easy and of no challenge other than running there. Then spend 2 days with addons and still not have em all lol. It’s a hugeeee barrier the entry. When other games u can just go!

This is so disingenuous and out of touch it's not even funny...
You have a lot of sketchy edits and intentionally bad interpretations of features... like I understand being critical of your favorite games... i'm a GW2 player and Secrets of the Obscure and Ice Brood Saga are... not great points in my personal opinion... and I am not quiet about that... but I don't go into the GW2 tutorial and blatantly ignore what the game is telling me, nor do I pretend like the early parts of the game aren't worth doing...
You speak like someone who hates the game and just want to tank any reputation it has.... look I hate ESO it's honestly not a fun game in my opinion... and the tutorial is pretty lame... i'm not arguing that at all... but your takes aren't good.

Thanks for stopping by. GW is a game I have often considered getting into.
So there is probably some misunderstanding here, because I’ve been called a lot of things, but never disingenuous.
If you are skeptical of my cuts, the entire 2hr live stream is up on the channel here, you can go take a look for yourself. Don’t think anything I could say could change your mind, so I’ll just leave it there.
      Thanks again for stopping by.

@@Nightharrow There is 0 misunderstanding here. No amount of watching the live stream is going to change my mind that you made an intentional cut of the tool tip explaining how you get skill points that uses 'spend' in the verbage couldn't link to 'purchasing' in the next screen. This cut was to try and cast shade and negativity on the game flat out. Go be negative somewhere else no one needs fake reporting on a game.
Your pretend inability to read tool tips isn't a sin of the game. The game gave you tools to know that 'purchasing' of skills wasn't pay to win. You are making disingenuous cuts to hide any talk about the previous tool tip (which is in your video at 4:13) jumping straight into complaining about a straw man of 'p2w' in 'purchasing' of skills.
It doesn't matter what context led up to that the ONLY reason any person could have gotten to that conclusion is by actively not paying attention to what the game is telling them.

Exactly, as with your first post, nothing I say could change your mind, because you don’t want it to be changed. Fair enough.
I would however encourage you to look up the common use of “straw man” in rhetoric though, so that you might better understand its use. Unless you intended to mean that my entire statement about pay to win was a false one I set up so they I could easily prove eso is not pay to win, since that is the meaning and purpose of a straw man in rhetoric. So maybe not 0 misunderstanding as you say.
Straw Man - an intentionally misrepresented proposition that is set up because it is easier to defeat than an opponent's real argument.
For anyone else catching this fun little conversation, I hope it was more clear to most that I was playing a role here of a new person, and had my tongue quite fare in my cheek for must of it. For example I praise the off balance and stun mechanics for being interesting and fun, when in fact they are of almost zero use in the game, since everything that you can’t kill in a couple of hits is immune to being knocked down and stunned. My point was to give a new players perspective though, so I pretended not to know that for most of the stream, until I broke character at a couple of places.

@@Nightharrow Bro I watched the full thing (well the 1 minute I needed to at the 33 min mark) since then... the tool tip was on screen for the full 15 seconds around the 33 minute mark of the video. You ONLY paid attention to the big text and didn't even read the BIG BLACK BLOCK on the right side of the screen. You just clicked the button in the center of the screen without even looking over what the game was telling you.
Either you're pretending to be stupid or you actually are. The game told you all the information you needed, it's not the games fault YOU lack the ability to comprehend what it's telling you.
MMOs are a complex Genre and require your attention. The Tutorial is out of date but it DOES provide the information you need if you don't spend all of your time trying to tear it down.
I saw you eyes glance to the block so you were 100% aware of it... and chose to ignore it. You are being disingenuous end. of. story.
