- This week I'm finally getting the DIY bio moving bed filter upgrades done, I'm trying out Bacto plus pond clay and getting the Showa problems sorted hopefully!!!

Thanks Les, yeah was a bit worried about doing it at first if I'm honest but it was quite an easy process in the end and she seems to be doing a lot better now! Cheers buddy 👍

Hi Matt spooky at the beginning I was saying feel the scales and see if they were rough to the touch then remove them , nice job 👍I keep looking at that bacto plus clay I know a few people that add it to their food too , nice one driver 👍👍😎😎
Cheers Martin, to be honest I've never had a reason to pull scales so have never known what to look out for. After having a chat with someone and taking a bit of advice it seems to have done the trick! Yeah I'm quite impressed with the water clarity after using the clay, didn't know about adding it to food though? Will look into that 👍
Good work on removing the scales Matt 👌🏼. There's that many clay's and water conditioners on the market it's hard to know which one to choose. Good update 👌🏼👍🏼

Hi matt Showa looking a lot better soon be 100% again I got a bag of the clay from Danny when I collected my koi great results with it,mixes much easier than most of the other clays & clears quicker two looking forward to the start of the grow on/quarantine pond 👍
Yeah she's looking a lot better Tom 👍 and I'm well impressed with the clay, like you say clears well quick compared to others I've used! I've finally got started on the grow on so good times mate 👍

Yeah she seems to be recovering thankfully! Will be a flying visit for me this year at the national, got to get there first thing Saturday for a hour as I've got to be in London that weekend ☹️
