- well i ended up buying a really good fake gold bar it even scans and brings you to pamp suisse website. in this video i will show you what i did wrong to get scammed and lost a bunch of money. hopefully this will help others to not get scammed as there are skme really good fake gold bars out there.
I mean the wrapping says it all it has a special tamper evident plastic layer not that bs 😂
was my first time buying pamp bars i didnt realize the plasric wrapper wasnt suppose to be like that all none of my other bars have ever come with a plastic wrapper
Expensive lesson. I stay away from the bars for a reason, but recognize there are high quality counterfeit coins coming out of the US, EU, Russia and China.
Thats why i closed my coin shop. Too many fakes coming out of china and they keep getting better at it. Unless you have an expensive machine you cant be sure.

yes there was one comment i was trying to read and reply to and i ended up deleting it by accident. im sorry about that i was new and learning how the youtube thing works.. still learning but much better at it. thank you for re commenting this will definitely help ! ill try that bar on the veriscan app soon
So it passed the scan test, is NOT magnetic and has all the proper inscriptions but the thickness alone made you realize its counterfeit? Didnt you see the thickness before purchasing? Was it a private owner? Just trying to understand because I just staryed investing in the gram bars from Money Metals Exchange and now i have no idea what to look for. Is this company legit??
it was a private seller when i scanned the bar code and it brought me to the site i assumed it was real i put the magnet on quick to make sure then paid and left. it was my first time buying bars over 1 gram so i didnt know it was to thick and never thought to look either. it was only when i tried to sell one to a bullion store and they cut it open and knew right away it was fake by the thickness. pamp suisse is a very good reputable mint i have other bars from them. but now i will be more careful i know how good these fake bars are.
