I think there should be an entire countdown for the best García Morgan interchanges. One of them should just be the office workplace conference where their banter is recited by someone from HR.
I just died at that one.. I called my girlfriend n, her mom picked up, I said you've been running through my mind: wanna go home n, relax with me.. her mom said: cute.. I'll put my daughter on... I died, froze and, wanted to hide..
Garcia grappling with that guy's request to be with him at his execution was so beautiful and agonizing and sweet. And the way she was strong for him and then later curled up in her friend Morgan's arms and cried her heart out.... Outstanding writing and acting.
The scenes where he asks her to be there at the execution because she "was the only human who reached out" to him, and his tearful "thank you" to her when he is executed always makes me ugly cry. Greg Baylor wasn't a good person and he did terrible things, but the show did a phenomenal job of showing the human side of criminals and murderers in that moment. He's just a man, lonely and scared to die alone. Penelope was the only person to reach out to him and even show him kindness when he knows he doesn't necessarily deserve it, that he just wants a friendly face to see before he dies. Its just a perfect performance of both actors to show the very real fear humans have of facing their own end.

When she is all alone in her hotel room in Texas and her request to meet him has been denied just hits me in the gut, as she’s physically and emotionally all alone, as Derek doesn’t understand or respect her decision. The last few scenes just break me too.
I wish I could carry my excess weight as gracefully as she does. Of course, her keen fashion sense is critical, but she really makes "fluffy" look chic.
Her dynamic with Hotch is adorable too. They have some really sweet/funny moments, and they just understand eachother so well, as they both value loyalty and care so much for their family.
I still giggle when I think of that time he told Rossi to run a drug test on her, it was said with such worry and straightface and yet so clear that he wasn't fully serious and knew she's just a tad eccentric. 😂

Penelope not wanting people to die alone hurts my heart so much she was such a good character. She has so much sympathy. I cried when she came to the guys execution when no one else had been there for him at all
That episode makes mecry every single time! And her managing t9 build a rapport with the goth kid is so cool too. She is just so empathetic and giving ( grief counselling, cookies/cupcakes for the team). Her voic3mail to Emily is also one of those moments that gets me super choked up too.
Oh boy, Criminal Minds was one of those shows that had so many awesome characters! Garcia is definitely among my top favorite characters next to Reid, Morgan, Gideon, Rossi, JJ, and Emily etc. Its hard to decide in which particular order. Please do a top 10 Penelope and Morgan moments!
These are two underrated Garcia moments, both in the last season: 1. In the episode "Saturday" (can't believe I remember the names of both) when she ask the team to help one of her hacking 'students', more like protegées because it's who she is. She and Luke have a heartfelt moment when Garcia talks about how she's always had her version of crime scenes perhaps even worse than everyone else in the websites, chats, the Dark Web... It sure does explain a lot of her character. 2. In the series finale (at least, for now) "And in the end" Garcia has to work with Reid's mother, Diana, who suffers from Alzheimer and schizophrenia so she can make the clinical decissions only Reid's closest relative is allowed to. In Spencer's possible deathbed. When Garcia told Diana something like "Reid once told me you and I are the two smartest people he'd ever met. So let's go through this together because Reid's life depends on the choice we make now". God, that was touching!
Ever since I stared watching the show way back in 08 when I was 13, I have always said Penelope Garcia is my spirit animal. I looked up to her so much and always wanted to be as confident and fearless as she is when it comes to being herself. She's an absolute QUEEN
All the remarks over the phone she makes are my favorite. From friendly flirting with morgan to weird nicknames to most of the team, she is always coming up with something to make us smile.
Love Garcia so much! Her fashion is amazing, her love is just beyond amazing and the fact that she gets freaked out by the criminals makes her relatable. PLUS 90% of the reasons they solve the crimes is because of her because she finds out all the backstories of the Unsubs.
Black Queen contradicted her meeting with Morgan when he dubbed her Baby Girl. I loved their flirting and support for each other. Everyone needs a friend like that.
Not really, you can tell them meeting was months before the introduction later, that happens in real life, especially when the team was busy on other cases and she could’ve been a starter tech girl before the full setup of her role
I would have been disappointed if number 5 wasn't on this list, though I do think it should have been higher. To me if you want to show garcia in one clip that would be it. Everything about her is aimed at making the world a better and brighter place.
I just have to say, it still kills me that Penelope didn't marry Kevin. He was so obviously her soulmate, and while I understand the basis of her fear of commitment, it really didn't make sense to me that she would not want to go the distance with him.
I love the tie she has with JJ and Emily. She has been the friend each of them as needed. But this is also just a sign of the family the whole team became. The quirky sister, she was just the one character who anyone in the team could come to with problems. I think the only two who doesn't come to her are Hotch and Gideon. She wasn't suspended for case tagging, she was suspended for hiding files behind a password on her system, THEN they figured out about the case tagging.
whilst garcia isn’t my favourite, you can tell that she is the main character. she’s not always focused on, but she’s always involved in everything. she has mother/daughter/sister/lover/platonic relationships with different people. in a series with so many potentially upsetting themes, garcia is the perfect person to have in the background of everything
when Garcia (as a Goth hacker Queen) is brought into the BAU team Morgan is with Hotch , yet many seasons early Morgan ask who the new tech girl is and calls her Gomez, before calling her baby Girl
I like the episode where Kevin had a talk with Rossi about Garcia. Even though we didn’t hear the conversation. We know she considers everyone family and Rossi as everyone’s dad. 😂😂😂
She was always my favorite character. I'm glad to see her getting some recognition. I'm just sad that she never got the happiness she deserved with Morgan or even Luke. Just not fair.

I know I'm late but when she put the IA panel in their place for investigating Hotch over the death of George Foryet, she was the only one to be as vocal on the team!
Love Garcia she a great character the show would be lost with out her. She and Spence are my favorites and I as think that the are the best characters. As for my favorite Garcia moment there is to many to count but the two that are popping in my head right now are the one where she makes Spencer go out with her but just as they are heading out Spencer get a call and the help save a young man who Spencer befriended seventh he was consider the unsub threw most of the episode turns out he wasn't but just a young man who needed help and the other is her gaving a big hug to Spencer when he got out of Jail in season 12.
There are just so many great Garcia moments that if I wrote them down it would become a novel love Garcia the show just wouldn’t have been the same without her

She's the heart and technical brain of the BAU (even though I'm not a fan anybody anymore but my friendis a fan and she almost looks like Garcia)
She’s my favourite character in the series. I feel with her whenever she’s on screen. She is so awesome.

Both were just friendships. A romantic relationship would have never worked either with Morgan or Luke.
