Are maternity benefits covered with normal policy or we have to buy any additional cover for that? I have recently bought Optima Secure but HDFC Customer Supoort told that Maternity benefits is not available in any HDFC policies and the same is written in the policy wording document as well.
HDFC ERGO health insurance for maternity includes the following coverage: Delivery expenses, including caesarean deliveries. Lawful medical termination of pregnancy. Pre-natal and post-natal expenses.
No, the HDFC ERGO Optima Restore plan does not cover HIV/AIDS. However, the HDFC ERGO Optima Secure plan does offer comprehensive coverage for a variety of illnesses and accidental hospitalizations.
Would migrating from HDFC Ergo's Optima Restore plan to the Optima Secure plan, while concurrently enhancing the base coverage from5 lakhs to 10 lakhs, invoke a renewed three-year waiting period for pre-existing diseases? I have maintained my policy for eight years. I would appreciate your expert guidance on this matter.
Yes, you can port your Star Health Insurance policy to an HDFC ERGO health insurance policy. The process of transferring a health insurance policy from one company to another is called porting.
Hi! HDFC ERGO Health Insurance for maternity provides coverage for hospitalization expenses incurred during pregnancy, including delivery charges. It not only covers the mother but also the newborn baby’s treatment and vaccination. However, policyholders can avail maternity coverage after serving a minimum waiting period of 4 years.
Yes! It Covers medical expenses incurred at the time of hospitalisation that include room rent at actuals, ICU expenses, nursing expenses, surgeon's fee, road ambulance charges and so on. It also covers all day care treatments that require hospitalisation for less than 24 hours.
HI Sir, You can choose amongst these as per your needs and requirements, but if you want a suggestion secure has more coverage and options than restore one.
Hi Team, thanks for the informative video. I'm already a policy holder of my health suraksha plan for my parents which is discontinued. Now I'm being migrated to optima restore. And with the comparison chart I'm inclined towards Secure plan but the only visible concern is the premium getting revised every year in secure plan, whereas Restore plan's premium is slab based. Started this policy 3years back and in the second year itself the premium shot up more than 1.5 times (reason as stated: becoming senior citizen). And now the policy being migrated to a different one again I have to pay the increased premium. Is there any way out? Or anything that I may negotiate with the company? Thanking you in advance for the support.
@@sing_me_to_sleepp restore is way better., considering you add protector rider. Then you cover increases cumulatively due to inflation benefits. Later, you can decrease the base cover , but inflated benefits will carry on. No such benefits in secure.
Great work! Your clear and straightforward explanation of these two policies was incredibly helpful and much appreciated. Well done..
Thanks for your kind words sir! 😀

@@sing_me_to_sleeppAll the companies after porting will increase the premium. So, I suggest you to be in HDFC Ergo with a Optima Restore plan.

Agar example k saath batate toh jyada achha hota
