@@Lalaloopsies_United i think it got lost forever in the “lost bin” the bin that was emptied of its multiple toys, duplo and lego, and now idk where it is, maybe lost forever, but i think they are still selling here in Portugal because i found both of the sets together in the boy toys area in the continente in Rio Sul
Yeah fam, we fumbled the bag with securing the JP T. rex LEGO set. Hopefully the universe grants us with a good bargain on a clean set. Thanks for the chill and relatable LEGO review and BIG LOVE!
Pterosaurs didnt evolve into birds. Birds are a group of avian Dinosaurs and already existed during the time of the dinosaurs. Pterosaurs are related to dinosaurs but are their own group and went extinct.
@@Blue.shadow17 I am actually thinking of using all my Mighty Dinosaur sets to try and emulate the T-Rex set. Won't get all the plating or colors, but I think I can get close heh.
Pterosaurs actually aren't dinosaurs, and they didn't evolve into birds like dinosaurs did. Pterosaurs went extinct along with all the non-avian dinosaurs at the end of the cretaceous period.
I wager you can. The piece structure is similar to the Might Dinosaur set, so you could most likey take the Sauropod instructions and work your way there.
Yo! I just got this recommended and it seems like a good video, but please say pterosaur. As a certified lover of pterosaurs my soul dies a bit when people say pterodactyl. Of course I’m just being dramatic here but it pterodactyl was never truly accurate, that was a public term the true name to my knowledge was pterosaur (tuh-air-o-sore) for anyone confused on pronunciation. Anyway 👍 w vid. Also pterosaurs and pelicans are further apart than trex and pelicans (Birds are theropods and pterosaurs aren’t inside dinosauria)
@@unreallbricks7706 well it’s actually valid again, brontosaurus was reinstated as a valid genus in 2017 so you can go on saying brontosaurus! Thank you for responding
It should be doable. I was comparing the sets after the video as they stood here and there are a lot of similarities in the structure, so you most likely could "scale up" to do so!
That does not seem true at all, what makes you say that? It has pretty much the same level of flexibility, it can hold more weight, I left this out of the video, but there are TONS of "attachment" points for weapons or riders. Truly curious!
Pterodactyl is an outdated term, the correct one is Pterosaur. It also wasn’t a dinosaur, but a flying reptile. Please do more research on stuff like this in future 👍🏻
You mean to say that my favorite Lego set that I lost most of the pieces of and now I only have the T. rex leg, torso and top jaw got a remake? Shut up and take my money

You could use the smaller T.rex as a baby rex.
Yooo that’s so smart
I have the 2017 one
Too big for a baby
Actually it would be the perfect size for a juvenile.
The color ?
This is what I've always wanted, because while Rexy is neat, I've always loved the Buck and Bull rex. This green is exactly what I want
I bought 3 of these solely because of you, and your AMAZING REVIEW!!!

the mighty dinosaurs set was my first creator set ever so even if i dont pick up the new one im happy to know its being remade
I'm hoping some sales come along so more people grab this one.
Excellent review. If you can keep this up, there are many bigger lego channels who should be looking over their shoulder! Nice job.
I think this is the closest we get to having a Buck T.rex from the Lost World in Lego form.
@@toonrex2806 it matches the color scheme, hadn't thought about that :o
Yeah
In a dominion set there is one that matches him
I'm probably gonna have to buy this, That T rex was one of my first Lego sets.

The original dinosaur 3in1 was my fav lego set back in the day nostalgia hit when i saw the new one
I like the video
This set was my childhood, this will be my first set Ill buy since 4 years

Yea they are reptiles
But since pterosaurs lived at the same time and places as dinosaurs they are usually associated with them
@@Volcanoboy-zh9oh Right, but they certainly didn't evolve into pelicans.

I remember getting the 2017
Sucks a little that we dont have a secret fourth option like with the of set, but I wont complain about a good brickbuilt dino

Well that's exactly what nostalgia is and there is NOTHING wrong with that. The price really made the older one more accessible.
