HI Marcus, it is actually really confusing to add a subdomain on Godaddy because the directions you gave -like many others- requires going to "forwarding" instead of " add a subdomain". Forwarding means to me, to redirect a page to another page.

Can a subdomain be directed to a completely different URL . I already have redirected my main domain to Wix servers and now my ad agency wants to create a funnel and they want to create a subdomain which they want to direct to a website made not on wix but on Wordpress . This is not how you add a sub domain in GoDaddy. You do so by adding an A record with the sub domain's info including prefix and IP of where that sub domain is hosted. GoDaddy should make this much easier by adding an ez button but they don't.
