soaring away was my go-to Just put that on repeat and work away until the music fits the time period. Hearing this again makes me so happy I found the game in a goodwill in 2014 sidenote i love some of the photo choices such as: Bright Expectations: two trains colliding head on and blowing up in a violent railroad accident:
This game is pretty much one of the biggest games of my early days, and I still listen to the soundtrack, its so good, especially mo station in particular.
Here we go Boys, its 10am, I'm 30+ doing expense reports on a train when MO' STATION hits me like a rod of lightening to my middle class soul. Its like Chelsea dagger for nerds.
Locomotion was basically the spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon. It was also made by the same person, Chris Sawyer, who also made Roller Coaster Tycoon. That explains why it looks similar to openttd.
Boutta locomake me bust
💀😭
BONK
One of the best theme tunes to an amazing underrated game.
Yeah, it is sad how nobody really heard about this game
My soul leaves my body when Mo' Station hits.

@@rocker1052 Soaring away is good track 😊. I’m also glad you found the background images nice

Amazing that people still talk about this game! Easily one of the best soundtracks in any tycoon game, hands down.
Allister Brimble uploaded CD quality versions of some tracks on his channel.
Well done with this upload! We really needed an HQ version on YT!
This is great for listening to, whilst making trains and railways in Minecraft :)
Good work, awesome quality! Loved listening to it during countless hours of playing this fantastic game, sure would love to listen it here!

Unforgettable

I like Chrysanthemum a lot, reminds me kinda of Scott Joplin
That's because it is a Scott Joplin song :D th-cam.com/video/_7lEPOknjYg/w-d-xo.html
@@Vardooman oh haha that makes sense, thanks for the link!
It could be perfect game if there was automatic replacement, or repair system for old vehicles. Replacing them manually is hell.
And larger maps. When is it public domain? Open Locomotion could be good
@villevirtanen00 Openloco exists already. They are still updating it! Multiplayer is still not out, though 😢
@@maxeeboi1300Ooh, I was not aware. Simutrans has a great AI and engine but could do with some better graphics.
16:51 my absolute favourite
I always liked Sandy Track Blues. Long Dusty Road is a good one too though!
Nice collection. Did you use any of Allister Brimble's remastered tracks?
@@m6isme I did not, these are direct rips from the game!
why does it look like openttd

@@VardoomanDoes John Broomhall himself have the rights to the music or does a corporation have them?
@@AdistuffRBX I do not know the answer to that question.
@@Vardooman Thanks for responding nevertheless
