Even though dedicated snow tires work overall best on-road, when snow wheeling off-road, snow rated all terrain tires would be better. The larger lugs will dig deeper and claw through the snow better, same as mud tires going through some mud. If the Audi and Range Rover had all terrains, they would have done much better.
Here in Canada 🇨🇦we have them ,Cheap To Buy Used And Very Expensive To Keep Maintenance up On Them, I Prefer My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo quadra track 2 4.0 l6 engine 130.000 Miles and 4 inch lift,33inch ×12.5 R17 And Built To Drive Through Terrain Like This With Ease,But Build It Correct The First Time ,And Always Fix Anything That's Broke Or Wore.

wish these "tests" were a bit more realistic. I prefer to see these same vehicles be equipped with the appropriate tires.
