Thank you! Taking out my receiver and turning my mouse off, then restarting my computer and putting the receiver back in and turning the mouse back on worked!

I have a mouse that you can put in only 1 AA 1,5V battery and it has been working well for over the year even though it's from China. When it did not work, I knew I had to change the battery. And I did it and it worked. Btw I got a Pringles can filled with batteries so I don't need to worry about buying more! :)

@@yoshiyoshi6 then you either have to check if the mouse works on another computer, then consider replacing the motherboard if you're on desktop or using a USB power hub if you're on laptop (but only if you can confirm the mouse worked fine on the other PC)

@@krusty4555 have you checked in the power management tab of properties of the mouse driver(s)? Uncheck the option that lets the system to decide when to power off the device (you'll need to uncheck it for drivers under USB categories too)
