Leicester Hop! Bus On first day

On the 3rd of April I took a ride on the new free Hop! City Circular bus being run by Centrebus on behalf of Leicester City Council, on its first day. This shows a bit of inside the bus and its route. Apologies for the basic video editing. I used Kdenlive for video editing, and just stuck the shaky low quality clips I took with my phone together. They look yet lower quality now they have been uploaded to youtube; I don't have much experience with youtube video authoring.
They are nice buses, understandably quite a few people seem to be questioning the justification of the money that has been spent on them, as the route means the buses compete with walking and cycling more than driving. It probably will mean some people in the area will take a trip into the city a bit more frequently though, and will think less about it, which I assume is the point. Anyway, its a bus route, not a tram track, so I would like to think they could adjust it a bit to be the most useful it could be, but who knows if they will do that. Anyway while it is here it is a fun thing to do while you are out, you can see most of the city go by.
