Thank you so much Graham, that has helped a lot. The instructions that came with the plug said nothing about how you set the cost up. I will have a go at this tomorrow. Thanks again and keep those videos coming
Hello again Graham, thanks for the heads up on how to use the meter. The instructions that came with it weren't exactly clear so watching your vlog was a great help. All good wishes to you and Wendy.
Thanks, at last someone who has explained how to use this so that I can understand. Great, will go and set my four meters up in my workshop now. Regards Kevin
Hi John, thank you for taking the time to let me know it’s been of use to you. It’s like most things easy when you know and we have some good subscribers.👍🎄🎁
Hi Graham. Just to let you know that your instructions for this plug was successful. I managed to set it up and baked 2 loaves of bread in my dual drawer air fryer. I'm well chuffed, only cost less than 10p to cook. I'm still on a fixed rate until next month so will probably be double that next time. Thank you once again for going to the trouble of explaining it all.
Hi Susan, that’s a relief. I always need basic instructions, things are complicated enough. Have you seen the comment if you press function and up together it resets but keeps the price. It doesn’t work with mine but it’s an older unit. You’ve had a fixed rate through the worst time for energy, well done 😍🥰😘👍
Well well John, I never knew that I’ll go and try it 👍 It doesn’t work on mine it must be a little different to yours 👎 never mind thanks it might work on someone else’s
Hi Graham I just found this info, ta very much, I have sent a message asking if you show us how to use the metre but now have found this and it's great, thanks to yourself and Wendy.😀👍🏼
Great video tutorial. I lost my manual and was looking for exactly THIS kind of explanation. Other videos are absolutely useless. Thanks for sharing and explaining it.
Excellent explanation Graham, I really doubt that I could have used this without your advice and tutorial. Many thanks. I will be using it with my ninja at tea time and with the tumble dryer later. Jane
Hi Jane, I wish I could have helped me. I couldn’t see the instructions nevermind understand them. It’s easy when you know how. Now for the shock of your tumble dryer usage. Thank you for the message and putting your name for me 😍❤️😘👍
Hi Graham, thanks for the information. Something still confuses me though, shouldn't the 33p be after the decimal point, and not before it, only it looks like £33.00 to me, and what if you are paying over £1.00 per kwh? How do you put that in, sorry I just don't get it. I have bought 2 of these but haven't set them up yet. 🤔👍
Hi Rosemary, I use 33p as a quick guide. I now pay 31.445 pence per kWh but it can get complicated. I don’t know what you pay per hour. The price cap is 34 pence, if you put .33 or whatever it is that’s ok. It can get complicated so try and keep it simple. If I can help I will 😍🥰😘👍
Thank you Graham, purchased this after seeing one of your cooking videos(great by the way) and struggled with the instructions given.Managed to set it up and then found another video which only put the last 2 digits on the screen which looked weird.Found your video thankfully and all good now, bit annoying that you have to reset to test different appliances though. Many thanks
hi graham, i have just bought one of these , i tried to order through your channel but amazon was out of stock, any way ive worked out how to work it, but would like to know does it need charging or will it charge as you use it , i would be glad of your help . i wanted to see how much my new airfryer oven takes to run it as it is so much larger, thanks in advance xxxx
Hi Grace, I also assume it charges as it works because I have never charged it. I will help you if I can with anything. Our main is 3 kw and our air fryers are about 1.7 kw. Apart from that they on not in use for anywhere near as long. I’m sure you both know this anyway xxx
thankyou graham, you and wendy are stars, the information and the video helped a lot, just tried it on the kettle and it works lovely. speak to you both soon xxxx@@grahamgetsabout2672
No, looks like you've programmed in £33 per kwh to me! Graham. What happens when we start payin over £1 per kwh. Which won't be that much longer the way things are going? We'll need a new meter! Regards Ray from Liverpool. P.s. am i right in thinking you're a brummie?
Hi ray, I’m just making a quick video showing £00.33 not £33.00. This should set your mind at rest ready for when we’re paying over a pound a KWH 🫣👍. South Nottingham mate 👍
@@raymondharrison1425 hi ray. Here you go. Hope this helps. With Cosori appliance I don’t think I’ve ever used a full £1. Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄 th-cam.com/video/j3EweL3dp80/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sy2CXMqdyX6RdDDX
IMO you are much better off buying wifi ones without a screen that transmit the data to an app which means you can look at it without needing to get on the floor or be in the same room, easier to enter settinsg such as cost, (face it the user interface of this sucks) and its easy to show history via graphs and so forth on a phone or tablet, can this can even do that? FWIW on the ones i bought there are also added functions such as "away:" whuch will randonly switch whatever is plugged into it on and off between times (that would usually be a lamp) and also you can have schedules for when they are off/on. Ive paid about £12 for those devices on Amazon. Dont know how much this costs but i would guess its similar.
Thanks for the video, whats the relevance of setting at 33p as oppose to 50 p or any other amount ? Also what brand is the energy monitor ? cheers Sorry ignore the 33p question, I just realised it's the cost per kwh of electric 😆 so i'm assuming if you wanted to monitor a TV you'd need another monitor device ?
Hi, 33pence is the amount we were paying at the time of the video. If you pay 50p put 50p in 👍 this device will work the any appliance with a 13 amp plug as far as I know. I’ve had it plugged in kettles, washing machines, vacuum s, irons and other stuff. The link to our machine is in the description below the video, please have a look and it will take you straight to the correct page. I’m told some models are not so good as this one. If you can’t find the link let me know mate 👌👍
Hi Graham, we live on a mobile home park, our electricity is charged at commercial rates, the owner has since negotiated a lower rate with the power company.
@@annbilling7036 hi Ann. I didn’t know it was that bad for mobile homes, I know the large propane gas bottles have gone sky hi as well. It’s a disgrace really .🤨
hi Graham. me & electricity don’t get on! well my 🧠 doesn’t get on! i’m ok with basic like change a plug. 😅 your tutorial was mint! specially taking time re-do the function s so i’m confident. happy Chrismas and new year. bri 🫡
Hi Brian, I’m not good at explaining so I thought if I just take my time it might help. Thank you Brian for letting me know it’s ok. Once you get the hang of it it’s so easy 👍 Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🎁👍
Thank you Graham, your the only person that explained it clearly for me. So I appreciate that.

Fantastic, I’ve got one of these and had no idea how to use it properly, thank you
