Lovely interview. My first thought is "my God what a talented family of artists." I'm keen to see how you expand the channel to include other creatives as you mention. And yes, Polly, this hits fathers (of daughters, specifically) right in the feels!
Having been enjoying these interviews, learning not only about how portrait photos are conceived, designed and managed, but the human side of the business and the interactions with celebrities, especially in the 1990s. However this is a really special interview. Well done and thank you.
Inspired project and inspired me, I have two girls that I’ve photographed lots. The drawings are wonderful I wish I’d seen the exhibition. Interesting question on the judgement of quality over the sentiment and love for the subject. Great edit of the video Fred 👍 as always really enjoyed. Oh wow! Anytime you spend with your children is worth it. Great concept. Taped mic is a nice touch but they have clips. 🙂 Missed focus ( sh@t happens) . Always look forward to these videos.
What a lovely family. Great to see the relationship you have together. My kids are much younger, 14 and 16. I’ve taken lots of pictures of them and each year I create a calendar of the images. But this year, is the first time I haven’t got enough pictures. They have got to the age where they hate me taking pictures of them. Did you face that?

We definitely went through that phase, still half in it maybe... We are burnt from the acculmative hours waiting for Dad to get his pictures haha!
