No, the information was correct. Kris left with the reason written in the video without even informing the group. He left in 2014. His case that you heard was 10 years later. It has nothing to do with why he left the group. Lay is still EXO. He still introduces himself as EXO's Lay when he's in Korea. Both he and D.O. are no longer in SM but are still part of the group even though both have no contract with SM. EXO are all in contact with each other but because they're very private they rarely share anything about them meeting each other. All are actors in drama/movie except Chen. Chen however, did acted in musical theatre. D.O. (Kyungsoo) has a Spanish song called Si Fueras Mia.
@@prescillasabalbarino-io5rp Beakhyun only left SM not group and it is to do his sols stuff and exo-CBX stuff independently and he still has contract with sm and exo related activities 😊
@@prescillasabalbarino-io5rpBaekhyun, Chen and Xiumin have group contract, they left only for solo stuffs. There’re usually 2 contracts for idols: group and solo. D.O and Lay have none of them.
@@prescillasabalbarino-io5rp Nope, only D.O. and Lay do not have any contracts with SM. Why do you think CBX sued SM? They still have a contract with SM. However, the newly revised contract allows them to set up a company for their solo projects. If you check SM website on their signed artists, both Lay and DO were not listed. But the rest were still listed as artists under SM.
Chen was the first member to have a baby and got married. Back then when Chen revealed that news, the fandom got fvcked up and some insane fans cancelled him, throw hates on him and worst… even petition for his removal from the group. But what I really admired for that man is he stand still, faced his responsibility and decision with bravery. I am beyond happy that he gotta find someone whom he can share the rest of his life. I hope for the other members too when the right time comes to them
I hope so , we want their happiness, some antis said he shoud said sorry to us what i love about chen is he don't said sorry , i was happy he stan for himself and his love.
yeah unfortunately there are STILL exo fans who want him out of the group. it's ridiculous. anyway, he and his wife have 2 kids now! they got legally married in 2020, but because of the pandemic, they didn't actually have a formal wedding until last year (2023).
Kai released his KaixGucci collection with Gucci back in 2021. The reason why he has that many clothes and two walk-in closet is because he has never really throw or worn out any of his clothes since debut. He still has all his sponsored outfit, even fans' gifts. And you can see him wearing fans' gifts even now.
Fact: Chanyeol has a degree in interior design same with Xiumin with a PhD in music and D.O is a certified chef and Suho with a degree in business Baekhyun is the ceo of his own company same with D.O and Lay with their own company too
me and my uni exol friend found out about that later. I did interior design. We had to design a bathroom in first year for a celebrity. I chose chen and she chosed chanyeol 😂😂 we are graduating this december (tomorrow is the batch photo day) idek how tf he handled the pressure tbh 😫
kris did what he did looong after he left the group. i think aside from the reasons they stated here, most of the Chinese members left because they have more opportunities back in China that were offered to them especially when EXO got big. big props to Lay for staying. his loyalty is unmatched. all the instrumentals/songs used as a background music here are EXO songs. Chen tried acting in a musical before the korean version of Broadway's In The Heights. but he said he's open to any acting opportunity. he's just more focused on being a singer/songwriter. though he's the most inexperienced acting wise, he's known as the OST king since he has a lot of OSTs in his belt some of which on kdramas that his members stars in.
Some updates for you because this also old and they have done sooooo much since then 😂 Lay - left their parent agency (SM entertainment) in 2022 but has always said he will always be part of Exo and will always be there when his members need him. He is a massive superstar in China and might possibly be the most famous celeb in the mainland. He set up his own company, Chromosome, has trainees of his own, and does everything from writing, playing instruments, producing. He has a lot of solo albums and singles, his latest is Step an all English album. He is also a well known actor, his 2023 movie No More Bets was the highest grossing film around the world on its opening weekend, beating Barbie and Oppenheimer. That is how huge he is. Baekhyun - he established his own company in 2023 called INB100, and signed both Xiumin and Chen. Basically all their solo works and their sub-unit work (EXO-CBX) will be done under this company, but they are still under contract with SM for all their EXO work. Baekhyun is currently THE BEST SELLING SOLOIST OF ALL TIME in South Korean history, across all genres. He has 4 solo albums and each one is a huge commercial success. The latest one is Hello, World (Pineapple Slice title track) is his first album under his own company and broke his own record for fastest time of crossing 1 million copies sold. He just finished his solo concert Asian tour Lonsdaleite and sold out every show. Kyungsoo (D.O.) - he also established his own company in 2023 called Company SooSoo. He no longer has a contract under SM, but he is still part of the group and works with them almost like a freelancer. He has three solo albums, the most recent one Blossom, is the first album he has released under his own company. He is a very successful and well known serious actor in Korea. Top directors and veteran actors all revere him as not just the typical idol turned actor. He usually takes on unusual roles and steers away from stereotypical romcoms. He has won a lot of the most prestigious acting awards in Korea. He just finished his first solo fancon Bloom tour in Asia, and was so in demand, they added 2nd and even 3rd shows to most cities. He is currently filming for a new drama opposite Ji Chang Wook. Suho - he now has three solo albums and just finished his solo concert tour in Asia. His solo albums are more rock/poprock and he recently learned to play guitar and is showcasing it during the concert tour… He is also been active as an actor recently, with a supporting role in Netflix Drama Behind Your Touch, and a lead role in Crown Prince Disappeared. He is currently preparing to film a reality show in Antarctica! Xiumin - he has had one solo album and is currently working on his second album. His first album is very 90s dance/hiphop/synth. Check out Brand New, it’s got a fun choreo. He is also multitalented and has done a few dramas and hosted a reality idol show recently, and will soon be a mentor on another reality show. Chen - he has four solo albums, the latest was Door, his first one under INB100. He has been going on Asian fancon tour lately and just recently released a couple of ballad singles. If you love emotional power ballads, Chen is the one. He is also an OST king, with many popular k drama OSTs to his name. Chanyeol - like Lay, he is practically a music prodigy he plays so many instruments and can write, produce, do everything in the studio. He has two albums with Sehun (their unit EXO-SC). He released his much anticipated solo album very recently Black Out - if you like 90s/2000s rock grunge you will love this. He is actually a really good singer, even though non fans only know him as a rapper. He is currently on his solo Asian concert tour. He was recently in the Netflix miniseries hit The Frog. He got a lot of praise for his acting in this role. Definitely unexpected from someone with such a bright, goofy personality. He is releasing a collab with a member of Super Junior this week Oct 30. Kai - is currently enlisted in the military. He is serving as a public service officer, therefore he can go home daily and on weekends after work. He will be discharged hopefully by Feb 2025. He has three very successful solo albums. Please his videos and Film Kai are works of art, no matter if you are a fan or not… those are required viewing for any music lover. His dancing and love for fashion is insane. Sehun - he is also currently enlisted as public service officer (together with Kai they are the last two to enlist). He is a huge influence in the fshion scene as Dior brand ambassador, and has a massive following in Asia, particularly in China. Literally any magazine he is on the cover of always breaks records of most sold in China. Hopefully he will be out safely after 1 more year… he is also an experienced actor, his latest work was All We Ever Loved and it really showcases his comedic and dramatic skills. 2024 is definitely a year for solo growth, but Suho has mentioned the possibility of winter album at end of the year. Exo are one of the few kpop groups that actually do proper ballads and are known for their Christmas albums. In 2023, their 10-year old b-side track First Snow went #1 on all korean platforms, and even tiktok. It went viral all over again and was the only boy group song to even hit #1 on Melon 100 in 2023. Their most recent full studio album Exist in 2023, despite very minimal promotion and incomplete members, still broke records left and right. It smashed the 24-hr pre order record on ktown4u (the largest overseas seller of kpop albums and merch), smashing record previously set by Jisoo and Seventeen… Exo may not be that well known to Westerners, but they have an insanely large and loyal (and rich 😂) fan base in Asia and particularly China. This is why to this date, they have the most number of streams of any artist on Melon Korea. Everything they do goes number 1 on the largest Chinese platform QQ music (fyi qq has more users than ALL spotify users workdwide combined). You guys do the math 😂 they set so many insane records before kpop and kdrama really became mainstream around the world. They are the real idols’ idol. And to this day, they are still estimated as the kpop group with highest net worth est at US$1 billion. Nope, it’s not blackpink or bts…
Yes, Suho is the leader of EXO. Suho in Korean means guardian, so Kim JunMyeon was given the stage name Suho because he is supposed to be the guardian of EXO. One of the main reasons why Suho was a trainee for 7 years was because he originally started out training to be a member of SHINee. (SHINee is a the legendary 2nd generation 5-member group under SM, who everyone in the Kpop industry now looks up to an respects. They have been in the industry for more than 16 years and are still going strong today both as a group and as solo artists.) However, right before SHINee was to debut in 2008, Kim JunMyeon (Suho) injured his knee and he couldn't train for their debut showcase, so SM decided to debut SHINee without him. He ended up having to wait 4 more years, while SM worked on creating EXO and preparing the group for debut, before he debuted as the leader of EXO. (He was the first member to be chosen to become a part of EXO, which is another reason why he was made the leader of the group.) But, by all accounts, this worked out for the best because he became the leader, and as the other EXO members say, he was born to be a leader. If he had stayed a member of SHINee he never would have become a leader, because Onew -- who is the leader of SHINee -- is 2 years older than Suho, and at the time of SHINee's debut it was pretty much a given that the oldest member would automatically be the leader. However, 4 years later when EXO debuted, the rules within the industry had kind of changed and it was no longer a hard and fast rule that the oldest would be the leader. Case in point, Xiumin is the oldest EXO member and, yet, Suho became the leader. Being a trainee for 7 years isn't that uncommon. If you start to really look into it, you will find a lot of Idols who have trained for a very long time before they debuted. However, it all depends on how talented someone is or how much experience they have had before becoming a trainee as to how long they train. Some idols only train for a few weeks or a few months, whereas others could take years and they may be on the verge of giving up when the company finally decides they are ready to debut. And some trainees may never debut and end up leaving the company or industry. Unfortunately, just because you are a trainee doesn't guarantee you will debut. A lot of it is pure talent and luck combined with sheer dedication. For example, Kai tained for 6 years before he debuted and Johnny from NCT trained for 9 years. Although, Johnny -- who is Korean-American, from Chicago -- trained for 9 years because he was only a trainee part time. Johnny's parents only allowed him to spend summers in Korea, so he could only train for about 3 months when he was on summer break from school. Therefore, although Johnny was a trainee for 9 years, his trainee period, compared to other idols who trained full-time, was actually only about 3 years.
Yes, you will discover that all the members of EXO -- and most idols in general -- are actors, and all of them have starred in K-dramas and movies and/or are stage actors. Promoting as a group only takes up a few weeks a year -- on average, Kpop Idols only promote their latest comeback on music shows and attend variety shows or do interviews, etc. to promote their newest comeback for about 2 weeks -- so in order to fill their time and continue to make money, all Idols have side projects, which means most idols also spend time as TV and movie actors, musical stage actors, models, Radio DJs, podcast hosts, authors, music producers, songwriters, regular/main cast members on variety shows, etc. Their side projects also are part of their cross promotions as idols. Someone who doesn't know them may watch them in a drama or movie or see them promoting their favorite brand or product, etc., which leads to them discovering their group and music, or the person may be a fan of them as a singer and this makes them want to watch their movie or drama, etc. It's all about getting their name and face out there in as many ways as possible in order to drive sales and viewership of everything they are involved in. The clip where you saw Xiumin cleaning the bathroom because it was so messy was not EXO's dorm. This was from a reality TV show called "Dangerous Outside the Blanket," which was a Korean TV show where several idols who are known for being introverts were cast on the show together and they essentially spent a few days vacationing together while a film crew followed there every move. Xiumin was the only EXO member on the show, put there were several other Korean celebrities and idols who "lived with him" as part of the cast for the program. For example, the other guy you saw sneaking out of the room was Kung Daniel who is a Kpop solo artist and was a former member of the temporary Kpop boy group Wanna One (formed as part of a survival trainee competition TV show, that was only active from 2017-2019). "Dangerous Outside the Blanket" is just one example of the "side projects" idols and celebrities in Korea participate in as part of the Korean entertainment industry as a way to promote themselves and their groups, etc. It allows the general public who may not follow Kpop groups or the dramas or movies these members are in, to get to know them -- these programs often air on TV during primetime viewing as programs you would watch after coming home from work or school, etc -- which could potentially then make that person want to get to know them more, which could then cause them to become a fan and get them to watch their dramas or movies or get them to listen to their music, etc.
Next to this is "EXO KILLING VOICE" thumbs up who wants it. Let's see their reaction. After that, live stages is better to watch and react. Why? Coz we see them sing and dance the whole song. MAMA, MUSIC BANK, KBS, AAA, FAMOUS STAGES. I love them all.
We want to be clear that Kris did not do those nasty things until he got out of the group! He left with no warning right as the group was about to go to an award show. The members were so upset that only the leader Suho went to receive the award. We will never forgive him for the way he left. The other members that left are in their right to leave since they were treated so badly but Kris……he doesn’t get that pass.
@@ashleym5440 he was sick he had heart issues, although he should've told the mebers , as you said he Doesn't get to pass for what he did in 2020 ,6 years after leaving
He still had myocarditis. What he did later on in life isn't excusable but him along with other Chinese one went out for right reasons. The only thing that made his case more bitter is that he left without informing anyone which is careless of him as co-leader.
@@Tooba-K123 that’s what I said, the other Chinese members are excusable but when he didn’t tell the other members and hurt their feelings that made his leaving inexcusable
Just so you know, Xiumin is pronounced like Shoe-Min or Shoo-Min. X in Chinese is pronounced like the sh sound in English not the English Z sound. As one of the two Korean members of EXO-M, EXO's Mandarin Chinese sub-unit, Kim Minseok was given the stage name Xiumin because it helps him fit in as a member of EXO-M and it makes him more relatable to their Chinese fans. Kim Minseok is also a very common name in Korea. Therefore, having a stage name also helps distinguish him from all the other Kim Minseoks in the entertainment industry. He was even on a reality show once where they cast several celebrity Kim MinSeoks together, so he actually asked them to call him Xiumin in order to make it less confusing when they were talking about each other. LOL I actually knew a well-known actor named Kim Minseok and a musician with that name before I knew Xiumin.
OH EXO is one of the best groups in History. Their vocals especially choreography hits my attention and caught me on guard all the time. I love Chanyeol with his vocal voice. After this, explore more of them by reacting to EXXO KILLING VOICE.
As you saw, EXO's fan color is "Cosmic Latte" (like the color of a latte coffee) -- Cosmic Latte is said to be the color that is created when you combine all the colors of the stars together. (As otherworldly beings, even EXO's official color is linked to the group's concept.) EXO was one of the first Kpop artists to have a lightstick with bluetooth technology. (Although a lot of newer versions of other groups' lightsticks now also have bluetooth.) At events and concerts, this allows the lighting technicians to have control of the fans lightsticks in order to make it flash and pulse to the music however and whenever they want. In EXO concerts, the lighting technicians will set up whole light shows using the fans lightsticks that corresponds with the performances on stage, which makes fans even more a part of the show. Yes, EXO's lightstick has EXO's official hexagon symbol on top and it's made up of the letters E X O -- the E on the left edge of the hexagon with the X in the center and the shape🛑makes the O -- which is close to EXO's original logo for their debut "Mama" MV. A lightsick is a pretty standard item to have for anyone who attends a Kpop event. Therefore, if you Google any group with the word lightstick you will find several sites where they are for sale. But be warned, they are usually fairly expensive because most are more than just a light. :D Although EXO's fan color is "Cosmic Latte," each of the 9 EXO members also have their own official color, as you will see introduced in EXO's "Power" MV. Most lightsticks are primarily one color -- whatever color represents the group. For example, BigBang's lightstick is yellow and it has a crown on top because BigBang are known as The Kings of Kpop. SHINee's official lightstick is shaped like a diamond, and if you hold it up to a solid surface and look at the reflection the diamond makes, you will see a 5 point star to represent the 5 members of SHINee. SHINee's symbol is a diamond because they SHINe(e) like diamonds and it lights up an aqua blue/teal color because pearl aqua is SHINee's fan color. NCT's lightstick has a big square block on top, which is supposed to look like a building because NCT and their fans are part of the Neo City, and it lights up Pearl Neo Champaign (neon lime green). Red Velvet's lightstick has the letters RV inside a cupcake shaped dome that lights up red. Mamamoo's lightstick is shaped like a green and white radish because moo sounds like the Korean word for radish. BTS' lightstick is the ARMY bomb so it looks like a TNT-type bomb and it lights up purple. BlackPink has a pink hammer. Stray Kids' lightstick has a red and silver compass symbol on top and it glows red because their official color is red, etc. However, what makes EXO's lightstick extra special is that it's multi-colored to represent each of the member's individual colors. And, depending on which member of EXO is on stage at the moment, the lighting technicians often change the color of the lightsticks to the color that represents that member, or goes along with the theme of the stage, etc. (When attending a concert fans now use an app to sink their seat number with your lightstick, so that the lighting technicians can have control of their lightstick.) Although, some group's lightsticks aren't even sticks, but they are bracelets or watch-style lights that you can wear. It all depends on the group concept. And some groups that have been around a long time, or whose company likes to continuously come out with new merchandise, have multiple versions of lightsticks. Each are very unique and specific to the group. Although, in some older Kpop group's performances, from their older concerts or live performances -- such as any EXO live performance that took place before 2015, which was when EXO's official lightstick was released -- you might see that the audience only has plain stick lights or even just glow sticks, because before there were lightsticks, fans brought or were given glow sticks in the group's color. And even before glow sticks were a thing, fans would all wave a balloon that was the color of their group. The disadvantage to waving balloons was that the artists on stage couldn't see the balloons when the lights were off, which is one of the reasons why they now have lightsticks. Fun fact: G-Dragon, BigBang's leader, was the one who came up with the idea for the first lightsticks, because he wanted to be able to see and identify all of the VIPs (BigBang's fans) in the audience. G-Dragon was the one who designed the very first lightsticks and they were so popular among VIPs that other groups started to come up with their own versions of fan lights, which has now become a standard part of the Kpop industry. During award shows and events where multiple groups are present, the group's lightsticks and balloons are, and were, an important way for fans to show their support for their group and to tell everyone around them who they are there to see, etc.
The instrumental you guys been wondering if it's theirs is Obsession. Their title track from their mini album in 2019. Jekyll is a b-side track from that album too. You guys will definitely love that album btw. One of my fave album from them.
Fact: during trainee days and until now they studying languages like english, japanese, Chinese and until now when they have time they keep on learning knew things like suho now is so good in guitar now, D.O is also learning guitar to chanyeol, Baekhyun, chanyeol, Lay can play piano and also chen even he said he dont play piano but during a guesting he play a piano. They are also good in sport specially Chanyeol the jack of all thread and not to mention EXO is the first million seller group after 19 years of drought in kpop industry they and they are one and only septuple million seller and Baekhyun also is the first million seller soloists after 2-4 years i forgot and now triple million seller
This guide did not made fairly equal guide for each member. Like many of the members can play more than one instrument. Many more information too. You guys probably want to watch individual guide for the members. But not sure if we have updated version of it. I think the latest one is from 2022.
U should react EXO individually that showcases their talents and their extra activities, why EXO is the richest kpop group in Korea or Asia. No group can beat or surpass them!
As others have pointed out, Lay has not officially left. He's done concerts in Korea earlier this year that Sehun and Xiumin attended. Chanyeol also did a video call during one of Lay's IG lives. Lay says that they are constantly in contact, meeting whenever he's in Korea, etc and he still introduces himself as EXO's Lay. I think it's more a combination of factors between politics, Lay's busy schedule, and SM's notorious apathy towards artists that leave their company that make it difficult for him to fully promote with them.
Lay was in all of EXO's MVs until the end of 2016, and he would have been participating in ALL of EXO's activities still today if it wasn't for the political issues between the Korean and Chinese government, which prevents him from doing so. He did leave SM Entertainment in 2022 -- when his contract was up after 10 years -- but he is always the first to tell people that if EXO ever wants or needs him for anything he will always be there for them. Unfortunately, the political climate between Korea and China was only a little better for a short time. However, since this guide was made, China's Idol culture has become even more restrictive after the election of their new president. Case in point, with his recent solo comeback with his song "Psychic" this was the first time we saw him promoting in Korea in a very long time. He has even promoted a Korean version of the song on music shows in Korea and he also just was in Korea for his concert tour. In order to avoid any conflict between China and Korea, his new album is an All-English album, just like most of his solo releases when he was under SM. Although there are still several obstacles in his way to being able to work with EXO. Lay is a megastar in China, literally one of the biggest celebrities in China today. The reason why he is so big in China now, I think is essentially a product of the fact that he could no longer promote with EXO. He first started to do some solo work in China while he was still participating in EXO activities, but at that time he was mostly famous in China because of EXO. When the political tensions between Korea and China ramped up, he decided that if he wanted to continue his career, he needed to really focus everything he had in China. That's when he started to establish himself as a solo artist in China and to begin to build his career as a producer, singer, dancer, actor, model and all-around entertainer. You should check out Lay's official lyric video for his song "Jiu," a song on his East album, which was released after he announced his departure from SM. This song is evidence that he has not left EXO and that he still considers himself part of the group, as every word of the song is a tribute to EXO. I have also read that on Webo (the Chinese internet server) he mentioned how he was working out a deal with SM that could possibly allow him to still continue to do projects with EXO in the future. (I mean it's possible, afterall that's essentially the deal that Baekhyun, Xiumin, Chen and D.O. have. They have moved their solo promotions to other companies, but they still participate in things with EXO, which is under SM. Lay probably just has a few more stipulations than the other member.) I mean, SM has been supporting Lay in everything he has been doing so far, including endorsing him when he started his idol trainee company Chromosome in China. And I don't think there is any bad blood or uneasy feelings between Lay and SM, so anything is possible. As mentioned, Lay's hiatus from EXO is not something he has chosen, but it's something that has sort of been forced upon him by the government. When China first began cracking down on their citizens working in Korea around 2016 -- as a political protest over South Korea's alignment with the U.S. and China's support of North Korea, etc. -- there were rumors that the Chinese government was threatening to revoke the citizenship of any mainland native Chinese person who continued to do business with a Korean company and lived outside of China. This rule would have prevented Idols, such as Lay, from visiting family and doing business in China, etc. The only way for them to avoid this from happening was for them to come back to China right away and stop doing business with their Korean companies. I don't know if this was really true or if it was just a rumor, but that is what I heard. Which would explain why some Chinese Idols don't feel any pressure to stop working in Korea because they have nothing to lose if they don't have family or a life in China or they aren't mainland Chinese citizens, etc. Yes, there are lots of Chinese Idols still working in Korea. However, these idols don't have the connections to the Chinese government the way Lay and other idols do. Many of those Chinese idols' careers don't depend on being able to promote or live in China and many Chinese idols don't have close family living in mainland China or they are not from mainland China, which is why they have more immunity from the restrictions placed on Chinese citizens. For example, NCT-Dream's Chinese members don't work very much in China and most of WayV's members are not from mainland China. That is also why SM has created Label V in order to make it possible for WayV to release music in China and its why WayV distances themselves from NCT whenever they promote in China. Lay's whole career is tied to being able to work and live in China and he is closely connected to the Chinese government as an ambassador of youth, so he has to tread lightly when it comes to how he conducts himself and who he chooses to associate with, etc. He can't afford to be blacklisted in the Chinese entertainment industry. For a long time, Lay was even discouraged from mentioning EXO by name in TV shows and interviews, but he always finds subtle ways to make it clear that being a member of EXO, and his EXO brothers, are always very important to him. We finally got to see Lay in an EXO project in 2021 -- the first time since 2016 (besides his brief solo appearance in EXO's "Tempo" MVs in 2018) -- with EXO's "Don't Fight The Feeling" MV, but he really didn't get to work with EXO because of the pandemic, etc. Everything he did for that MV was done remotely and independently and inserted into the song and MV. Lay started out learning how to dance as a trainee when he signed with SM at the age of about 17. According to him, at that time he wasn't a very good dancer and it took him a lot of hard work and time to get to the level that he's at today. Now he has become one of the BEST dancers in China that EVERYONE looks up to. Currently his favorite style of dance that he has been focusing a lot of his training on is Krump. Lay is regarded as an industry expert that pretty much all other dancers and musicians look up to -- he has even been credited with making Krump a mainstream dance style in China, and he is one of China's leading experts when it comes to Krump. However, he started out by learning popping and locking as a trainee with SM. Because of Lay's drive to constantly be learning new things, he is always striving to learn as much as possible and to be as diverse as possible about all styles of dance and cultures. Lay is such a good dancer because he literally is in the dance studio practicing for 6 hours EVERYDAY. (In an episode of Street Dance of China 4 in 2021, he specifically said "I practice for 6 hours every day." And he meant he does it regardless, no matter how busy he is or what he has going on. He even finds time to practice during filming for reality shows that have nothing to do with dance.) I have seen in a documentary where he starts his day around 4 a.m., he gets done with his schedule of events around 9 p.m. and then he spends from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the dance studio with his dance mentor dancing. That's also why he was given the title of the nation's producer by the Chinese government, and why he has been a mentor/dance instructor and main PD for several Idol trainee survival competition shows in China. (These are programs similar to American Idol, where trainees compete to be chosen to become members of a new idol group.) He is pretty much considered an expert when it comes to dance and performance, and he is beginning to gain the respect of songwriters, composers and music producers from all over the world. He is who everyone, especially in China, looks to as an example of what it takes to be an Idol. He is literally considered one of the most successful celebrities in China.
Thank you for this ❤️ please also listen to Chanyeol's solo song like black out & back again, kyungsoo's popcorn & mars, suho's cheese & 1 to 3 and chen's empty. 😘❤
Fact: most of all exo members have been in musical theatre performance except sehun and Kai and all of them actors except chen who know for being the OST king and the only time he been in drama is during exo nextdoor
Actually, it was Chanyeol who played the guitar in their acoustic session (where they were wearing white), not Lay. But in their other acoustic session (where they were wearing blue) Lay played the guitar with him.
(1:39) WHAT IS LOVE" esta cancion fue lanzada como un "pre-debut" y mostraba ya en ese entonces el tslento enorme de EXO he incomparsble para el K-pop de eses entonces😊
It was right that's why a lot of us were still fans of Kris after he left the group and now we don't want his name associated with EXO (like articles saying ex EXO member) because we don't want this to ruin the boys image.
First thanks guys , pls react each member guid to get to know better . Btw baekhyun have four albums if i add his japan album is 5 albums same goes chen . 9/8 have their solo albums.
Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin, Lay and D.O are no longer in SM, they're still part of EXO but they have their own companies: D.O's company is called Company SooSoo. LAY's company is called Zhang Yixing Studio. BAEKHYUN's company is called INB100, CHEN and XIUMIN are artists under INB100.
The Exo-M leader did leave for the exact reason as mentioned in this guide. SM is known for being a racist company to it's foreign idols although they're good at developing skills in a trainee. Whatever crimes the Exo-M leader dod is later on in life which has nothing to do with his leave from Exo.
Unfortunately, the fact that Chen is married with children -- he has 2 little girls now -- and still a member of an idol group doesn't sit well with a lot of fringe fans. When it comes to the Korean public there are different standards for what it means to be an idol. Therefore, he and his family have gotten a lot of backlash from anti-fans in the past. The group has been boycotted and some people have even demanded that he be kicked out of the group. That's why, you hardly ever see anything about his private life mentioned anywhere. However, being married as an idol is generally looked at favorably by most international fans. It's just an unfortunate part of the Kpop industry and idol culture. Because they are called "Idols" the industry is designed to make it so fans idolize them and they are held to an almost impossible standard. As part of that, idols are meant to be pure and perfect and they are only supposed to be devoted to their fans, etc. EXO is the group that started 3rd generation (2012-2019), and, unfortunately, third generation began the era where the Kpop industry sort of insulated them and made it appear as if they never interact with anyone of the opposite sex. If you notice, most of the time whenever pretty much any third generation or younger group or artist, is around someone of the opposite sex, we hardly ever see the other person's face or see them interacting together. Third generation was when the Kpop industry decided to take the Idol image up to the next level and make it appear as if the idols were solely devoted to their fans and that they never have any outside distractions. To see the difference, take a look at some of the second generation (2000-2011) idol groups. (For reference first gen. is anyone who debuted from 1996-1999/2000.) Second gen. is way different from all the other generations. Which is why second gen. feels so much more open and free. This was when the Kpop industry really hit its stride and this era was a lot more about the interactions between the groups and how it was just one big happy family. With second generation they were all just groups and artists, it didn't matter what company they were from or what their music style was or whether they were a girl group or a boy group, they were just all part of the same industry and everyone got along. We very rarely even talked about what company a group was from back then, because it didn't matter. Second generation has always been the era where it was/is common practice to have girls in their MVs and as their backup dancers, etc. Second generation fans are used to the fact that they interact with girls and women all the time, so we have no problem with them having girls in their MVs or them dating (to a certain extent), etc. After all, during second gen. era, they had reality TV shows like "We got Married" where idols and celebrities would be paired up with an idol or celebrity of the opposite sex and they would spend several weeks filming content as a married couple. The whole point of the show was for them to live as if they were a real married couple. The show gave viewers and idols a glimpse into what it would be like if they were really married. Granted, these were all fake pairings and everyone knew they weren't in a real relationship, so this isn't quite the same as an idol dating in real life, but a program like this would be pretty hard to pull off in today's third gen. and younger era. This just goes to show you how things have changed. Third generation is where everything become more exclusive and it mattered what company a group or artist was from. It became all about a group's popularity and how they had to be better than everyone else. Everything became much more about cliques and it's more about an appearance of competitiveness and the importance of someone's status and rank within the industry. It became about who is better than who. It's very much reflective of society in general these days. Third gen. started the trend of always having to prove themselves and to show their worth by being better than everyone else. Where second gen. doesn't have to prove anything anymore, their popularity and standing doesn't waver just because they aren't the top seller with their last comeback or they didn't win every award under the sun. (I mean all those things are great and it's meaningful when they win, but that's not what second gen. are all about.) You can even see a difference in their fandoms. Second gen. fandoms get along with each other and they are friends with all the fandoms. If you were a fan during second gen.'s heyday then you know all the second gen groups and artists, and even if you aren't a super fan of a curtain group or artist, you probably still are a fringe fan. Where third generation and younger fandoms are much more exclusive, and they more often are competing with each other to prove who is better. For people who didn't get into Kpop until third or fourth gen., you see a lot less mixing of fandoms. For example, it almost feels taboo to say you're a fan of BTS and EXO in the same sentence without feeling like you need to qualify that statement by letting people know you have more love or passion for one group over the other, etc. Unfortunately, the industry has changed, but it really explains why you see and feel such a difference with second generation groups and artists compared to third and fourth generation, etc.
Yes exo is very big in china due to their promtoed in china and with lay promoted there try to promoted his group much as possible only luhan and ztao left on good term with member kris now in sticky situations due his crime luhan and ztao still love the exo member luhan still follow exo member who had insta and ztao had mention them few time.
Jericho just keeps on assuming things. Kris left exo because of the reason stated in the video. What you’re referring happened YEARS AFTER he left Exo and now currently he is in Jail. “I don’t think that’s their song.. “ NOPE that is their song OBSESSION!
Suho supposedly debut with ShinEE but break legs so he did debut with EXO as leader. Why his been trained 7 years, maybe he is really mean to be in EXO not ShinEE, lol!
Check out our EXO reaction playlist :)

kris did leave for the reasons stated in the video. he left in 2014! unfortunately he has been up to no good these last few years :/
yeah i think he only knows the recent scandals
Only DO and Lay only left DO, u don't know Baekhyun? Lol
@@nurlyaiiymOhh i thought d.o still has the group contract (like cbx)
@@halima-L-1485he did right to not say sorry 👍 build a family is not wrong for human
yeah unfortunately there are STILL exo fans who want him out of the group. it's ridiculous.
anyway, he and his wife have 2 kids now! they got legally married in 2020, but because of the pandemic, they didn't actually have a formal wedding until last year (2023).
The hexagon logo of EXO was mainly designed by Chanyeol
Fact: Chanyeol has a degree in interior design same with Xiumin with a PhD in music and D.O is a certified chef and Suho with a degree in business Baekhyun is the ceo of his own company same with D.O and Lay with their own company too
me and my uni exol friend found out about that later. I did interior design. We had to design a bathroom in first year for a celebrity. I chose chen and she chosed chanyeol 😂😂 we are graduating this december (tomorrow is the batch photo day) idek how tf he handled the pressure tbh 😫
@ you did well for sureeee, good luck on your graduation day. Lucks aheaaaaad, super proud of co-exols 🫶🥰
@@erilado7780 thanks and good luck to yall too
Baekhyun got total 3 million seller for his solo's music.. the one and only
kris did what he did looong after he left the group.
i think aside from the reasons they stated here, most of the Chinese members left because they have more opportunities back in China that were offered to them especially when EXO got big. big props to Lay for staying. his loyalty is unmatched. all the instrumentals/songs used as a background music here are EXO songs.
Most of his OST songs weren't from drama where any exo members in tho. There's actually 2-3 of them prolly that exo members are in
kris did leave for the reasons stated in the video, the story you talking about is in 2020 and he left the group in 2014.
Some updates for you because this also old and they have done sooooo much since then 😂
Lay - left their parent agency (SM entertainment) in 2022 but has always said he will always be part of Exo and will always be there when his members need him.
It smashed the 24-hr pre order record on ktown4u (the largest overseas seller of kpop albums and merch), smashing record previously set by Jisoo and Seventeen…
Exo may not be that well known to Westerners, but they have an insanely large and loyal (and rich 😂) fan base in Asia and particularly China.
Thank you for the update 🥹💖
Music genius Chanyeol
EXO is just so talented!❤
Each has their own strength and the vocals of course😎❤️
Thank you for reaction, Exo my love has been for 12 years and forever, exo we are one ❤
True legends 🥹
Killing Voice is already on our EXO playlist along with many more on Patreon!

EXO still the best and most talented group out there ❤❤❤we are one!

I love EXO ❤
I love D.O's unique voice and irreplaceable run .
please do the separate guides for the members🥺🙏🏼
We will look into them!
OH EXO is one of the best groups in History. Their vocals especially choreography hits my attention and caught me on guard all the time. I love Chanyeol with his vocal voice. After this, explore more of them by reacting to EXXO KILLING VOICE.
Wow.. Thank you so much for reaction to exo❤
As you saw, EXO's fan color is "Cosmic Latte" (like the color of a latte coffee) -- Cosmic Latte is said to be the color that is created when you combine all the colors of the stars together. (As otherworldly beings, even EXO's official color is linked to the group's concept.)
EXO was one of the first Kpop artists to have a lightstick with bluetooth technology.
Although EXO's fan color is "Cosmic Latte," each of the 9 EXO members also have their own official color, as you will see introduced in EXO's "Power" MV.
(When attending a concert fans now use an app to sink their seat number with your lightstick, so that the lighting technicians can have control of their lightstick.)
Although, some group's lightsticks aren't even sticks, but they are bracelets or watch-style lights that you can wear.
6:56 This is their song, called “Obsession”
if you watch bad prosecutor he won award best actor..now recently he won award in korean music award best R&B

This guide did not made fairly equal guide for each member. Like many of the members can play more than one instrument. Many more information too. You guys probably want to watch individual guide for the members. But not sure if we have updated version of it. I think the latest one is from 2022.
Exactly, Baekhyun also starred in a musical, Singing In The Rain in 2014.
EXO ❤
yes, lay was playing guitar with chanyeol
Amazing EXO 👑👍
Thank you for this EXO guide, Sehun is on BUSTED on Netflix, it's very entertaining and fun to watch he's good in the series,on my save list
Thank you for reaction to exo, i hope you guys react more often to exo✨❤️
Kai is a Ballet dancer so those spins he was doing were pirouettes, not triple axles.
WE ARE ONE!
Sehun is now Dior ambassador
I hope this is the good one 👍
Ехо💖❤️🔥💖👍😃
Actually, it was Chanyeol who played the guitar in their acoustic session (where they were wearing white), not Lay. But in their other acoustic session (where they were wearing blue) Lay played the guitar with him.

Nothing like EXO
It was right that's why a lot of us were still fans of Kris after he left the group and now we don't want his name associated with EXO (like articles saying ex EXO member) because we don't want this to ruin the boys image.
I suggest you also react to their live concerts.
We have some of their performances on our channel! Check them out 💪

First thanks guys , pls react each member guid to get to know better . Btw baekhyun have four albums if i add his japan album is 5 albums same goes chen . 9/8 have their solo albums.
kris reason is legit. that was so long ago..
you have no idea how much hate Chen get when he announce he is marrying his girlfriend. One of it was the knetz demand him to be kick out from EXO.
👀
Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin, Lay and D.O are no longer in SM, they're still part of EXO but they have their own companies:
D.O's company is called Company SooSoo.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
(I mean all those things are great and it's meaningful when they win, but that's not what second gen. are all about.)
You can even see a difference in their fandoms. Second gen. fandoms get along with each other and they are friends with all the fandoms.
