Always loved this movie. The beginning was always pretty ridiculous and unbelievable. I used to think, maybe thats not how Nutso really died. Maybe he got thrown off a building or murdered and Shep held onto all that trauma blaming himself. Kinda blended the memories he had of them playing basketball together with Nutso getting murdered at the building. But that was just something for me to take away from that somewhat ridiculous scene/explanation. I've never seen Star Trek V so I had no idea thats where that sample came from on the 2pac song "Pain" Anyway love this movie.
Another really solid 90's hood drama with a fantastic performance from 2Pac who also plays a villain in this. I'd definitely consider this a classic along with Juice.
6:35 Agreed bro! 11:41 I actually put this film above that film sorry Matt. I haven't seen this film years but I do remember really enjoying it true it would've been better to see Marlon as the lead or Leon for that matter as for Pac in this film I actually felt he works a lot better as a villain also I love the basketball game at the end very well done it felt at times more like a street fight then a game which made it more interesting IMHO. Awesome job on the review here's one song from the soundtrack I always enjoyed I'm sure you'll remember what movie line in the opening of this song is from? Duane Martin is the lead actor. He’s a great actor. He’s played in a lot of comedy films and tv shows. You should check out his film resume. He was also married to Tisha Campbell, who played as Gina on the tv show Martin with Martin Lawrence.

IMDb/wiki said Allen Payne was going to get or wanted, Duane martins role in this but the director thought Duane was better.
@@joeyjohnson207 Duane Martin's character is a hot head
I remember him from Scream 2
The sixth man (1997) >>> above the rim (1994)
