thank you very much, really pleased you like them :) i would of shot the majority of these videos on 1080 25fps on the natural colour setting. Then just tweaked the colour in post - darkening the blacks, slightly rise the highlights and add some colour into the saturation. Very basic colour correction but it just adds to the videos. Also the colours of the scenery were very vibrant so this made it never really look washed out or anything

yes comfortable and was AC and they also gave us breakfast which was included in the price! not sure if there are any other ways of getting there - there probably is but this was so easy and direct as they take you to your boat as well to the island
hey there, sounds amazing! if you watch my last video (chaing Mai with the elephants etc) that is an amazing place you can care for elephants which is so nice. Personally i would say a week in bangkok would be too long, but if you fly to there you could spend a few days there, move on and then spend a few days when you fly home etc? and Koh Tao was an amazing island, and one of the best places to learn to dive, the sea isn't that murky, crystal clear when diving etc

hey man thanks a lot :) i'm using my canon 550D with tokina 11-16mm and canon 50mm - neather have any filters but i am editing with Final cut on my Mac book air :) the only thing which is frustrating is the slow internet speed over here as this video took 9 hours to upload! luckily i had Wifi in my room otherwise i would of had to sit in a free wifi zone for a very long time lol!! hope this helped you mate BARBSTER360
p,s if you ever get out there again hit shark bay at 6am and snorkel about 50m out, black tip reef sharks everywher :-D. its my spiritual home, i dream about living ther, but its changed so much in the last 10 years its mad.

Heard a lot about people getting scammed into paying ridiculous amounts for tiny scatches, Do you remember where you rented yours?? And also the 4 islands tour you did in Ko Lanta,,, Which company did you do it through?? cheers

Hi! I'm planning to do volunteering with elephants then a week in Bangkok and then spend my summer working in a bar hopefully in Koh Tao while learning to dive. Any advice? Is the water that murky colour all around the island? Is there much opportunity to take a boat out and sail (Its one of my many passions)?
it was quite green but the lighting in some of the shots like the thunder sky made it go that amazing turquoise colour...quite surreal

I have been all around to that island, great place. Island scene from the top of the mountain is also spectacular.

nice vid, you had a lucky escape with chumphon, its a right dump. i got stuck ther for 2 days due to bad weather. tao is awsome aint it!
