No problem! I really do understand your frustration, it is weird how the DX is much more durable. I saw a post where they said that "DX is made durable because it is intended for kids, but CSM is very expensive and it should not be fragile just because adults can handle it gently." Although I still have no idea why the CSM Decadriver is designed like this. Hope this guide helps you in some way :D
Great work! I was shocked to hear from other online stores that 99% of the CSM ver.2 had the same issues. For overpriced product, they really made it cheap with side handle. I would like to get this driver someday. But I guess I have to wait for the officials to fix that problem. (Which I highly doubt it.)
Yes I totally agree with you, all I can say is just be prepared or try not to play with the Decadriver too much. Or if you have the DX version, you can just use the driver of CSM and put it onto the DX base.
i bought the parts at shopee, you can try out this link : shp.ee/fjqhnqp .Please be careful because the DX version and CSM version for the repair parts are slightly different
Yes you are right! no matter how careful you get, there will definitely be wear and tear on the insides of the Decadriver. I got it up on Shopee. TaoBao has options as well. Make sure to ask the seller, and choose the correct version because if I'm not mistaken there are DX and CSM versions which has completely different shapes.
As far as we heard, due to the fragile parts from the handle, there is no way to just fix it back but replace the broken pieces. Or modify the handle from DX version (CSM belt part)
@@rashidmenarhayden1763 Not always, but you have to be very careful as the way it's built puts stresses on the plastic inside in a way that isn't present in the DX or ver 1 CSM. Myself I don't use the rotation if I can help it, and mostly have it set for display.
@@rashidmenarhayden1763 you can see in the video the part that breaks. In the DX the metal post that rotates the center is covered in plastic which keeps the metal from applying pressure directly to the post holder. In this the pressure is directly on the metal which transfers it to the plastic below.
Thanks for the guide! Finally happened to me in just 2 days after testing each card, I still can't believe Bandai designed it like this

Where did you get the repair parts? I've been looking since I got my driver as I'm sure even as careful as I am, it will likely need repair someday.
