At least the homeless people have somewhere to keep dry I was homeless back in 2011 it was horrible spent it In a hotel room I lost everything but now am in a flat doing better
These old places remind me of the house I was born in. Built in 1894, sitting at the bottom of the Sophialaan in Baarn, NL. I was born in '58, so of course it had first generation electricity with the old switches, the small water heater above the sink in the kitchen, coal stoves. It had the original French type toilets with cast iron tanks high up. Of course, I'm left with nothing but memories for everyone I know connected with it are long gone. The house is still there though for it was deemed a historical landmark. The inside however has been totally renovated with 21st century styling. Times change.
this mansion is absolutely amazing, I love how the old fashioned hair dryer is just siting by a window looking out over the beautiful landscape.... AWESOME video, love these so much ... The cigar art houses AMAZING
@03:19 As you were coming up the stairs, I seen the shadow of a person moving in the door up the stairs & to the right. If you look closely, you will see him move too!!!
This was a really beautiful house in its day, such lovely wooden armoires for the clothing, and the sinks in each bedroom were very unusual to find here in Canada. The desk in the child’s room was really interesting in its style, and compactness. I remember making things from cigar boxes when I was young, it was a lot of fun. I would love to have a wine cellar that big, mine is only about half that size. Thank you for taking us through this lovely find, it is still in rather good shape for being unloved in so long...I was surprised the homeless people left the cheese untouched, it is probably still just fine since its wax is undisturbed. Perfect choice of music to accompany the visuals. I must say that your intro was beautiful...the editing skills are getting better all the time, and, as always, the respect you give to those who lived there is admirable. Stay safe, and I continue to look forward to each of your uploads.🖤🇨🇦
I love the fact that you appreciate the little things in the places you explore. You get excited about wallpaper and belongings, many explorers comment that those things are ugly. You are always so respectful of who lived there in the past.
You are closing in on that silver play button...just remember that when you hit 100K you have to let them know or they don’t just send it. You definitely deserve the growth your channel is getting...may 2019 bring you all you wish for.🖤🇨🇦
Absolutely wonderful explore Lesley and Jordy. The newspaper from 1955 as usual makes me think of the day a person unknown to us, sits and reads it with his coffee or such. I am always moved by the thoughts of past lives in the houses you visit. It was once beautiful with the sounds of life, now no one remains. Very lovely in parts.
Wow boys! Dunno why, this gives me goosebumps....it's such an eerie feeling that I always have for an abandoned building which past involved children.. Good job, as always!
Wow! Your videos are so beautiful. Your so respectful of the buildings and speak so soothing. Its fascinating to see how they've held up over time. If only those walls could talk what a story they would tell. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. Love from Kentucky USA
Hello Lesley and Jordy! Wow 😮. I am love the big house and the wood closets and door really beautiful place in the past. Thank you for always show respect for everything. 👋🇺🇸😘😍🌹💋
I normally don't comment on stuff...but this was one of the greatest finds I've seen. I just wish I could fix this place up n move in with all my grandkids. I'd be keeping n refinishing most of the things left behind. I'm just shocked its not worse than what it is. Thank you...now I would love to come in go through this place myself (which can't happen cause I'm not able to get around w/o help) I sure wish I could find something close by where I lived like this. I just can't believe it's not falling apart with being that old. WOW I'm impresed
Wow,What a nice older home that must have been, esp.with a large backyard/garden! Your very good taking us the history and tour of each location! Great job, Lesley and Jordy!!🤗👍💕
What a beautiful old home. Still in good condition too! @ 3:19 a shadow moved out of sight in doorway to right upstairs. That one bedroom had a desk not a closet. The old hairdryer was cool. The old toys were very cool! Loved this explore guys! Thanks fir sharing. God bless you 2019.
Thank you for the most wonderful tours of history. You have an eye for showing the most beautiful and incredible things. I enjoy traveling with you and hope you have many more safe and beautiful tours in your future. Lots of love from Texas !
I have been subscribed to your channel for about a year and I just love your videos and your attitude towards the people that for whatever reason had to leave their homes it is sad but so interesting everything you guys do thank you so much
Amazing video amazing find! You kids are so sweet and respectful of the places you search and the memories and things left behind that were important to the souls that once occupied these places. Thanks again guys for all you do
Love you guys, you are so respectful of peoples lives and things. the 'baby bed' you passed was in fact a 'playpen, where you put baby for a little space of time while you are doing something else.
I think you guys are the best explorers miles ahead of anyone else, one thing please focus more on the unique furnishings, you do better than most but sometimes miss showing some by going by without mentioning. I love you guys and hate even saying anything because you are so good. But because your so respectful of the property’s you wouldn’t mind this little tip. Love /like your videos always
What a beautiful home this must have been for a child to grow up in 💕. Thank you for another very interesting video! Wishing you much success in 2019 from Minnesota, U.S.
Hi Lesley, Bravo! - You did it again! A wonderful video. - I really was watching you with great pleasure showing us through this amazing villa with still quite a lot of furniture in fairly good shape. - Although your brother Jordy wasn't actually visible in your video I could also hear him sometimes commenting. - It's great he is now again more often together with you, because his skills as your cameraman are clearly visible. - When you comment its always amazing for me to see the items through your eyes and I admire your respectful attitude. - This house is indeed full of history, as if the items would tell a story of a long gone by aera. - I was especially touched when you found these toy houses made of cigarboxes in the attic. That's indeed awesome! I wish you and Jordy and William all the best and blessings in the new year 2019! Wishing you all peace and good health and a lot of safe explores! - Kindest regards from cold and snowy Switzerland.
I wanted to say your channel is the best one I think to watch. all of the beautiful places to see.so much history and so many still beautiful . thank you
Hi Guys: I very much appreciate your authenticity, and telling us all a back story of the house if known. Lastly, I appreciate your respectfulness of the homes as well as the belongings. Thank You. Cyndi Taylor. New Jersey USA
What stunning condition of the interior, roof and furniture! Empty for decades yet better condition than the poor decrepit old cottage I live in! A lovely find by you again 😊
Wow, great exploring, even though it was old, you can tell it was a beautiful home. It really was a time capsule, thank you for bringing this interesting home to us, love ya!
I have been following use guy's from the beginning of when you all have started your adventures. I am always looking forward to see your next video. It's like i am watching you boy's grow up and becoming the men you are today :) it's the way you carry yourself and how you respect the place you go too. That speaks volumes on how you were raised and the love you have for what you all do. :) Looking forward to many more video's.. Amazing may the stars bless you all :) sending you and the family love alwaysssss
Y’all are great. The way you carefully show us the finds. So glad Jordy (am I spelling that correctly?) brought up the cigar box construction!! I used to do that too. Very sturdy.
Always my favorite explorers! You always find the most magical places. I love that you are always respectful and kind when exploring. Keep up the great work
Loved this video! And again can't tell you enough how much I love you guys. You are so sweet, respectful and interesting. Can't get enough of you and your videos! I have no doubt you will make the 100,000 subscribers very quickly!
Beautiful job, boys. What a lovely villa. You boys filmed it so lovely. I was so surprised to see a huge wheel of cheese on the kitchen table! What a thing to leave behind. :) I love the Victorian style of putting running water sinks in the corner of bedrooms. How convenient. I wish I had one in my bedroom. In America, so many older houses are being "remodeled" and walls are torn out, wood removed and sinks removed, if they are there. I wish they would leave the houses at least similar to how they were built. I kind of giggled thinking of the lady of the house shuffling from the toilet to the bidet. Usually, the toilet and bidet are right next to each other, so the lady could slide over to the bidet after using the toilet. This room has the bidet a ways from the toilet. How unusual. Leslie and Jordy, you boys did a lovely job. Keep up the good work. I always enjoy your videos. (I wish I had more time to see them, my job keeps me busy.) Love you both! Warmly, Mary from Chicago, USA
Unbelievable how it has been trashed in a few months time, * crying*. We were there in May and people made a big big mess of it. Able to take some nice shots but the kitchen for example is just horible to see now :( Thank you for showing us it before our visit!
What i love about this kind of vlog is thinking about how happy the ambience used to look like as well as how happy the people living there used to be then returning to the present in a blink of an eye
Wow!! I just love the places you go! You are so respectful of the places you visit and you are so knowledgeable about what is what. I really enjoy your videos!!
Love this beautiful house! Always wish could live there. We do not have as many beautiful places in US. Thank you for sharing these awesome videos! Love your manners and respect for past families!🤓🤗
Nice catch Jordy on spotting that the little buildings were made from cigar boxes. Back when kids had to use their own talent and imagination to be entertained, rather than now always having their face stuck in an electronic device. Hope to see lots more of you for 2019. Maybe Jordy will even get in front of the camera for once? Just to say hi? 😉
I find it interesting that a lot of bathrooms you show us in Belgium have two separate sinks placed side by side. I guess that is where the idea came from to put both sinks in one cabinet. More storage space that way :)
Hello 👋 Lesley, Jordy & William! I’m thoroughly enjoying this beautiful old home 🏠! I’m in awe of the furnishings...the sinks in the bedrooms..the gorgeous armoires in there, too....I find myself wondering...was this a pretty wealthy family? I know you said there was once the 5 children 👶 with their parents....still, the house 🏡 seems HUGE! Anyway, thank you 🙏🏻 for the amazing 😉 explore! Congrats 🎉🎈🎊🍾 on ALMOST hitting 100K subscribers! Another great explore Bros of decay team. The bathroom with the hair dryer was actually still a pretty room. Always leaves me wondering why places are just left behind. 🤔

BEV I seen that, thanks for pointing it out!

Oh that’s creepy! Lesley, please tell us if that’s from a living person!?! Why would anyone be leaning on the wall like that? Human or Spirit?
