    I too have a YZ450F (and a Rekluse). A great package. So, can I ask, where did you get that graphics kit? I love the look.

      I bought them from a place called Magik Custom Graphics. And the Rekluse made the 450 fun to ride in trails and at lower RPMs!

    I have a 2021 yz450fx, its great for trail riding because of the adjustments I can make with the power tuner app, not sure if the 2018 has it but if you do definitly use it.

      For sure! The 2018 has the wifi Power Tuner app. I've not used it much as the bike is powerful enough. The Rekluse just tames it enough to make trail riding enjoyable

      Yeah the 2018 YZ 450 F was the first year for WIFI tuner

      @@jeffhicks1008 I changed the map once with the wifi Power Tuner app and scared myself to death! I bought the bike from a guy that raced it a couple of times in Supercross. It has SX mapping, engine, and internals.

    is it the clutch lever and shifter you don't have to use or do you still need to use the shifter?

    • @Project-qn9hn
      @Project-qn9hn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I only touch the clutch out of habit nowadays. Mostly i pull in the clutch on down shifts. But the clutch really isn't needed. You still need to shift the gears with your feet though.

      Still need to shift gears, just dont need to use clutch lever. Think of it like a semi auto bike..

    Hey mate. I'm considering getting a rekluse clutch for my crf450l. Was trying to work out what the difference is between the radius x and cx and weather the cx is worth the premium? Here I australia, the x is $1100 and the cx $1700.

    • @Project-qn9hn
      @Project-qn9hn  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Radius CX uses their top of the line clutch basket and other premium parts. Based on my understanding, the primary benefit is durability. I'm never going to push the Radius X to the limit. In the US the RX cost me around $600 per bike with a dealer discount. The CX here retails at $1049. I've been pleased with the RX.

      I have a radius x in my 2019 CRF450L...it works awesome...I do a little road riding, but mostly single track riding in the north east part of the US...I wouldn’t go without it...the only caveat is riding downhill...the bike will cut loose and freewheel on you if you don’t rev it a little bit.

      @@mathewsharp233 I’ll check out the lighter springs…my local Honda shop installed it for me while I had it in for tires and service….not sure what springs they used… did you alternate every other one wit a light one and heavy one… or just replace them all with the light ones?
