Really enjoy the Basic Strategy videos. I think making these for all the spirits which you don't plan on making full guides for would add a lot of value to your channel and make it more accessible for newer players! It would also be nice if you could quickly state which build is the "most standard/common" build before starting the game (even if you later deviate from it due to the board state).
Hey Red! Great vid again. I didnt realise that Boon of swarming bedevilment was meant to be an ANOTHER spirit targetting power. Is there an errata somewhere for this? Really enjoy your vids Red. You have clearly a lot of passion for this game, and so much insight. On that note, I have a question for you. Do you think Many Minds should be seen primarily as a FEAR based spirit - like Shadows/BODAN/Shroud, or...should he be viewed more as a DEFENSIVE COUNTERATTACK spirit - utilizing Dahan, much like imo Towering/HearthVigil etc... I like both playstyles and I'm aware that there is often crossover with spirits but -- on the whole they have a PRIMARY identity. I struggle to place ManyMinds identity in this way. Perhaps it is different depending upon whether you solo or multi play, but....what would you say? Would appreciate your input! Finally, honestly, really great job with your vids. I particularly like your "Is this spirit for you vids?". Your playthroughs on TTS or digital (particularly digital) are also crazy good. You are soooo fast with your thinking!! I always have to stop, pause and rewatch. But I always learn something. Keep it up man. And thanks a lot for all.
Boon of Swarming Bedevilment is an another player targeting card! The app just shows it as "any" because it is a solo game! sick.oberien.de/?query=boon%20of%20swarmin
Many Minds is a hybrid Fear/Dahan counter attack spirit! I think the Spirit leans more into Fear than the counter attack strategy though! The developers have stated that they believe the fear is a bit overtuned on the Spirit and that they would reduce the fear on the right innate by 1 per tier and likely strip some fear from the skip card (1 fear per action skipped OR increase the card cos to 1 energy). Thank you for your kind words and I'm glad you enjoy the content!
@@RedReVenge007 Thanks Red. Yeah -- should just use my eyes really!! :D As for ManyMinds -- makes sense what you say. Would be interesting to have him more of a counterattacker wouldn't it. A nice balance between Sharp Fangs - who directly damages, and ManyMinds, who counters. But yes -- agree, I currently see him as a Fear based spirit. Suppose in a way it makes sense -- Swarms of birds, insects, creepy crawlies -- kinda frightening -- and allows Natives to hit back under cover of fear. Cheers again, and continue the great work. I got the digital Spirit Island because of watching you!! And, it's awesome. Won't take me from my boardgame copy though -- nothing beats handling the stuff yourself. :D
Didn't know guide the way is a two step action, thought dahan must be in the original best land, seems they can get picked up on the way as beast moves. Do you have any chance to make clarification videos about this game?
Interesting, I didn't know that you can choose to only move two presence when moving a sacred site that you count as a beast. Thought it was the entire stack or nothing!
I enjoy the content but these rules aren't new player friendly. Why didn't Beasts prowl go in order? it made me question the fear count. Also does "Spirit speakers solve riddles of power" work with multiple boards? If lands isn't restricted to just a sand or jungle or whatever with your presence in it, then it sounds like the board itself also doesn't matter.
watching a gameplay. habit. Many minds move as one really good for team and its fear generation is most effective. Like the feeling out adversary deck as a TCG game player. Additional lose condition in some TCG, making ur opponent have no card to draw

@@logo59alpha you can choose the order of Beasts prowl.
Yes Spirits Speak targets each Spirit and tracks their Dahan across the island.
