Excellent and it looks so easy I know however it takes time and knowledge. Question how much something like that will cost? Thanks I have a wood burning fireplace
Really love the video and explanation. Only critique is handling finished pieces like the glass and trim and maybe the logs with dirty hands vs gloves. Getting finger prints on the inside of glass where you can't clean it would be a major downer.
Every few years I search the WWW to see if anybody anywhere has converted a free-standing wood stove (mine is a Jotul) to use a gas insert. The answer is still "no", and no manufacturer has created anything for this purpose. Seems like a development opportunity. I'd buy one.
There is an option to add a blower to this fireplace. You really don't need one because of the design of the fireplace, but you can always upgrade. If we are doing your job we can run the gas line for you, the price depends on how much gas line you need.
@@allierandolph6910 Yeah, that's too bad! Oklahoma is a little far for us to travel to lol. The gas fireplaces are very convenient and clean though so they would make a great replacement :)
No offense, but you have no clue what you're talking about. When it's -10 outside, nobody cares it looks like if it keeps the house warm. And, with proper air flow, these can keep 3000 sq ft warm.
I'm curious what the approximate cost of this install was?
Wow, easy-peasy!
How would you do it if you did not have a gas connection inside the fireplace opening but you have a gas connection that you can hook to in the attic?

did you have to lock the flu open or did u just depend on the vent pipes

Am I the only one who doesn’t understand why there would be an existing gas line in a wood burning fireplace??
There wouldn't be. Another company brought the gas line in.
How much does this cost?
Excellent mind blowing installation perfect
Is that tempered glass or ceramic?

Amazing
Is there an option to add a blower to this model fireplace? Also is the home owner responsible to run the gas or propane line into the firebox?

Wish y’all lived in Oklahoma and could redo my wood burning fireplace ... we love the fire but not the mess!

About what dollar amount am I looking at with this?

Depends on the appliance and installation cost.
@@andydaddy2009 No. More like $2000
No offense, but gas fireplaces are like Hollywood props, totally fake and ugly.
