Agreed. Watching this video convinced me that with practice I would be able to do what I was seeing this demonstrator was able to do so easily and without any errors or problems. In actual fact, you need to learn how hard to press and be prepared for many errors in interpreting your handwritten music. I am continuing to work at it, but I’d love to learn tips that avoid all the crazy results that appear once you click away from the measure you have just written. Perhaps there is a way to make the program more or less sensitive or ‘forgiving’. Anyway, I love where this is going and between my practicing and hopefully updated and improved versions of StaffPad this will be a useful tool for we composers.
@@PaulReadMusic, the older I get, the less steady my hand. That trembling makes using this less attractive, but it's still far more intuitive and responsive than Finale. Finale still wins with double stems when two notes cross each others' paths, print layout editing such as deciding to devote a whole staff line to a single, long intensive measure, to create text pages for extra lyrics, or program notes for programmatic works that include poetry or a storyline a la Hector Berlioz, or add blank pages using text boxes, graphics, centering and layering of objects for title pages and rear cover pages with ISBN or ISMN barcodes for professional publication and sale online as an epub file in Amazon Marketplace or sheet music.com. Those things would create continuity of style and seal this software as the king of notation software...or queen depending on your fancy.
Ive had this for a few years....forget it........LOUSY recognition, LOUSY.........stopped using it. Worst part trying to export them....they stay NONE pdf......very hard to open
If you meant chord symbols, long press above the staff and select “Insert Chord”. For more information, see this video: th-cam.com/video/z9LEPTaej68/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VPhsTIYiLt-SCbSQ
Looks very useful, but I find it hard to understand the strong British accent. The speaker also speaks in a sing-song style, dropping his volume at the end of words or phrases to such a low volume it's hard to hear with out turning the sound up to where it seems too loud. I enjoy British accents, but find this speaker hard to understand. Too bad, it's a great app.
Just got it, plus the Ambience One pack. I’m so excited.
Я так счастлива, что купила этот App! Вы лучшие!❤❤❤
Не получается у меня стирать ошибки. Нажимаю как говорят и все равно не работает Может знаете что сделать надо?
Just got it but darn, it is hard to write. It will take some practice for sure.

@@peterklein6617 I'm 87, and a year ago I had surgery for tremors in my right hand. This help a lot, not always. ,But I keep using the program
Hi I have staffpad and I bought Berlin strings and I want to buy brass and wood and percussion
What do you suggest for me?
Mo from Iran
hello, I think a problem with the program is that you cannot put 4 bars per system, it is a big mistake when editing scores
erase delete? how about ledger lines? is transposing, copying parts possible?
Will we have Staffpad also for Android?
Can you mix sample libraries, for example use the percussions from spitfire and the strings from Cinesamples?
Yes
Of course you can!
I have read the reviews, not sure how old they are or what, but they say it crashes frequently losing all data. Has it been fixed?
Can we do Rewired with Staffpad and Logic Pro?
Is it possible to create measure stacks or delete them?
yes, you can create measure stacks or delete them.
It would be great to have someone from StaffPad answer the questions below.
Is there a way to write lead sheets?

Not to be cheeky, but what if you like your cloudy days and nights all the time, and shun the sun….
